As an experienced bookkeeper (like 30+ years), I have worked with many accounting firms and tax preparers over the years. Not one compares to Bayley Davis Associates (BDA). Their level of service is amazing and they work very hard to make sure that you understand what your options are. Most of us are scared of the IRS and its complicated tax codes. At BDA, they have excellent communication skills and that makes the tax process so much easier for everyone involved. It is nice to know that you can still find a local business with that level of knowledge and integrity. They stay on top of all of the federal, state and city tax laws, including changes to the IRS codes, so the rest of us don't have to! As tax preparers, they make practical suggestions and have the knowledge to back up their conclusions. Over the years, I know they have saved my clients lots of money and frustration. And every single time I refer a client to them, everyone ends up happy! I have never had any client tell me that they are dissatisfied in any way. Plus filing online is FREE. Well, to also file online for a reputable site (i.e. H&R Block), to finalize your taxes, you will need your previous years AGI. So, I called here and spoke to the gal. She asked that I call back in 10 mins since she was with a client. Fine, ok. 15 mins later, I called. She picked up and told me that she was still with the client and to call back in an hour. Ok. I just needed one single information but whatever. I'll call back. 1 1/2 hours later, I call back, no answer or voicemail. Ok. Call again. Nothing. So, I call back at 5:35 pm (they close at 6pm). The long time Accountant guy there answers. Before I could say much of anything, he tells me to call back in 15 mins and hangs up. WTHeck!!! I call back immediately. No answer. Call back again. No answer. I'm done with this place. You lost this long time "client". Our whole family files our taxes there. I will let my family know of this incident and even if I have to file taxes for my family, I will. To avoid EVER giving ANOTHER DIME to this place! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
