I came into The Men's Club and was greeted by a pretty woman at the front desk who let me know about the suite special of that Monday, and gave me general information about the club. I then walked down a short and relatively spacious hallway to the main portion of the club. Passing plants, a vip room, and ping pong tables in the process. It's a generous room with a main stage and two cage type side stages. Two bars are adjacent on the main floor, but only one is open on week days. The drinks were reasonably priced and the service was expedient enough. If you come on a weekend the waitresses might take a second to come around from the business, there's never more than 3 waitresses working the tables on any day. And I've noticed the week days only ever have 1 or 2 waitresses in the first place.The staff are nice though, the girls are attractive and do their job well. The bathroom attendant offered various items. Things like mints, cologne and such, which was convenient. They offer a dinner menu so I appreciated the concept of mints in the bathroom. I later sat at the bar and spoke to a dancer named Juliet. She caught my attention from her use of the pole and the various tricks she preformed. She was a nice and bubbly girl, pretty in the face with perky boobs (very grabable). We got 2 private dances in the back section of the club and it was generally very pleasing. She started the dance slow and worked up to grinding and more sexuality. I was overall happy with the dances, she also gave me a free entrance card to see her again. The men's club is a 4/5, it's a place to come when you're just looking for some honest fun and pretty women. However like my previous review on the club in Cary.. there is no friendliness to patrons. i think all the girls should go on a paid training vacation to Miami simply to observe and learn how to service their customers then pass a test here in NC before being officially hired . The girls are the only reason I'm giving more than 1 star. The DJ is HORRIBLE. The girls look like they're not having any fun because the music is literal trash. The DJ plays his own personal mixes of songs and it does nothing for the dancers or the crowd. The cover charge isn't ridiculous, it's a nice and clean space. Security was great and really accommodating as well. I visited this establishment in the early evening around 9pm. It was not busy but plenty of dancers at the ready. I sat by the bar and had a casual conversation with "Juliette". She is very friendly and down to earth, not pushy or boring. After a few modelos we did a two private dance session. This is the worst club I have ever been to in my life. Bad service all around. I have been waiting for hours to be served. Don't bother with the girls here. If you are black avoid this place at all cost. Nobody will serve you and you will just waste your time here. I have never been somewhere as bad as this place. It has gone downhill since new management. On my last visit the one time all night I was served a drink the waitress tried to steal money from me. Overall I feel like it could have been way better! They do not get fully naked just take the tops off, music was all over the place I don't know if I was at a strip club or a rave. I can't believe it's going to take a wo-man to write the first review of The Men's Club! Glad I could be that woman for you all. What to say about The Men's Club? Well, it was formerly Thee Dollhouse and I'm honestly not sure what changes the new management has made (new girls? better food? can anyone weigh in?) because --sheesh-- I haven't gone :that: many times! Ladies, do be on the lookout for The Male Revue held every April and October. Cowboys, Firemen, and Cops; oh my! It's sponsored by G105 and is a ladies-only affair (sorry to all my gay guy friends). You take a sex-starved city like Raleigh, add our many suburbs and universities, then throw all those 'desperate housewives', soccer moms, and college girls into a room full of oiled up men: woah, stand back. Those women go wild! The first Male Revue I attended, I was 21. I walked through the lobby and into the room. There were men in chaps on the main stage, neon banana hammocks like beacons from all the surrounding cage stages, and male strippers clad in nothing but g-strings walking freely up and down the aisles. It was surreal. I've done a few male revues since then and they're always a blast. This year, they took it up a notch and offered actual Chippendales. If you haven't been to see male strippers, well then I highly recommend it. They can dance, they can choreograph, they can whip off their pants and gyrate. No it doesn't have the sensuality or cigar-smoking camaraderie of going to watch women strippers, but it's loud, funny, and chaotic. The Male Revues are popular (since they're few and far between!), so come early if you don't want to wait in a long line. Also, the non-valet parking fills up very quickly on a busy night and because of the club's odd location, you'll be forced to use the valet otherwise. Yes, I've even been to some of the ordinary nights here for some male friends' parties. They keep the stage dances going all night and they've got gals making rounds with shots, or you can opt for a massage instead of a lap dance. They offer several couch rooms, and the space is actually cozy not creepy. There are two separate bars and I've found that service varies. Seating fills up very quickly at the ledge that surrounds the main stage and at the tables around the stage, so you might end up sitting in the far back or on the corner (which doesn't have the best view) or even standing, when it's crowded. read more

*laughs* I was expecting the Men's Club reviews to be better populated by yelpers. It's been a few months since I've been, but I've been lucky to have gone to the MC twice: once when a girlfriend and I were looking for good eating after midnight and had heard about the restaurant and decided that we should both have fun and visit and be curious; and a second time with a large birthday party with all the attendent lap dances and massages. Having been to Jaguars in Las Vegas (now Scores, I believe) I was surprised to find a club in Raleigh that could have easily fit in Las Vegas. It was very large, and nicely decorated, with a large main stage and two or three little satellite stages. The girls were friendly, except for one little persistent and unplucked-eyebrows girl who was pretty rude and pushy about dancing for members of our party when we clearly didn't want her to. The masseuses were genuinely good at what they did, although I think they used lotion and my preference would have been oil for a better rub. Food-wise, I was very impressed by the service, as our table was exchanged for a little dining table, complete with tablecloth, that had me humming "Be our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast. My friend had steak and potatos (soooo goood!) and I had an okay sandwhich, great fries, and a very stellar slice of cake. There was some VERY excellent pole dancing, probably the best I've ever seen-- and I would not have thought that possible. Also, they do little "shows" like three times a night, although I think the first time we just caught a little cowgirl show one of the local dancers was doing, and then the second time there was a porn-star feature. My two very drunken girlfriends decided to go up with a whole gaggle of other females, much to the delight of the males in the club, and I joined them for the requisite whipped cream and chocolate sauce fun. Being sober, and having seen a few more creatively done shows, it was just so-so, but everyone else seemed to really dig it. Thank God I wore something I didn't mind having stained. I did have lapdances from a very pretty and willowy aubern woman named Aubrey (or Audrey? sorry :/ ) She was delightful to talk to, and though she did have implants, I found her table dances very nice and can only imagine the damage she could do amongst the males. She sat and talked for a bit, and it was a nice way to shed the ickiness of the pushy, stubby chick had tried to rub her clammy body all over mine in nigh extortion (serious ick.) Tweezers and some charm school needed, STAT! There were also several other fantastic women there, though I really couldn't name any of them. I recommend the MC if you're looking for a better place to have steak than the angus barn (which reminds me that I have to give them minus marks for a horrible burger.) Terrible customer service. Manager would not give my jacket back after the girl told the group they would put the jackets under our name and did not give me a ticket. After arguing with the manager to get my jacket back my friend corfirmed, it was my jacket and manager refused after an another hour another friend had my ticket and gave it to them and they finally decided to give my jacket back. The drinks were heavily watered down. I am a light weight as far as drinks go and my White Russian didn't even leave me tipsy and my husbands rum and coke was just coke. The girls looked bored and there was no strip, the basically started topless and rocked their hips a little. We sat through 4 girls and only one even messed with the pole. Bar service is great. Even with a full house on a Friday night. Heavy on entertainment. Strippers play games on stage which takes away from actually stripping. They are also light on drinking which is probably why it is easy to get a drink. Even though they stay open until 5:00 AM they quit serving and offer an "after hours" entertainment room for $10. The bouncer presented it to me in a way which made it seem like I could get a drink downstairs but no alcohol upstairs. Their are a lot of strippers who are clean and look good which makes it easy to get a dance. Their are also a lot of bouncers. The men's club is definitely a nice relaxing spot for men looking for real interactions with beautiful women. A lot of time when you go to a club the women are rude and get sloppy drunk. There were a few girls Thursday night when I went that were definitely questionable in age and maturity. One women that I met though showed me a great time! I don't remember what her full name was but i remember her nickname was Esme. She was mature, beautiful, and intelligent (at a strip club all three of those things are hard to come by). I would have given 4-5 stars if it wasn't for all the little things this place sticks to you. The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen is the 10% fee they charge at the ATM. A couple bucks is one thing, but I took out money three times and was hit for a total of $70 in fees. Yes, that is correct. I had to pay $70 to this place, just to take out more money to pay this place. We also had dinner there which I thought the food was pretty good. The issue with our dinner was that it cost $68 , yet my card was charged $287.50. The receipt that I have shows the correct amount, so again, WTF? In situations like this it's hard to believe it was an accident when the receipt I signed for, and the copy I took with me, both show the correct amount. *UPDATE* When we were leaving I tried to take cash out to pay a bar bill, and the ATM wasn't working. One of the girls said no problem and took me to the front where they could run my card for something called "dance dollars". Unknown to me is that they charge 15% for this transaction, so the $200 actually cost me $230, then they added the dinner to the total. 10% ATM fee's and 15% front register fee's, until these people take their heads out of their asses, we won't be returning. I've changed my review to one star. I would have given them no stars if it were possible for being such scumbags. They also charge a $5 fee for running a tab. What marketing genius came up with this one? Where do you make more money, charging people $5 tabs, or letting them use a credit card for drinks, and cash for the ladies? They represent themselves as a classy joint, but here's a couple recommendations to up your game. One, don't charge anything for valet parking. Valet parking should be expected at an upscale club. Two, stop with all these ridiculous fees. Especially the ATM fee. Whoever came up with that should be beaten to death. The ATM should be no charge and if I have to explain why, you're fired. Let people take money out and spend it on the girls, so these girls can make a living too. Three, On your website it says that you want people to dress nice when they come in. Now I get you want as broad an audience as possible, but if you want a fancy club, start emphasizing the dress code. Four, get rid of the tip jar at the entrance. We paid you $28 to get in the door, and the cashier says tips are welcome as she holds up this big plastic bin. Seriously? You want me to tip you for charging me a door fee? I'm going to out myself here and admit that I have been to gentleman's clubs on two different continents and in nine countries. So, I think I'm a pretty good judge of a club. Ok let me break it on down for some of the doubters and the nay-sayers. The former doubt that men, and some women, go to these establishments to have actual fun and to relax in an adult-themed environment. The latter swears up and down that anyone who goes to these places are perverted and contribute to the degradation of women everywhere (but has obviously been before). That being said... a gentleman's club is an outstanding place to just absolutely relax. There's a good reason why even most of the reviewers on this wonderful site are females. And that reason is that dancers, ones preferably who chose this profession, are some of the strongest and most confident women out there. They are flexible, entertaining, flirtatious, strong, artistic and (mostly) beautiful. What is there NOT to love about a woman who encourages you to revel in her femininity? Everyone loves beautiful women! Ok now to the review. When I first came here it was Thee Dollhouse. Same interior, same exterior, different name. My first experience was right before Christmas and right before I moved to Raleigh. A female friend brought me here at the end of a long day of apartment hunting and it was truly enjoyable to come to this establishment with a lady who enjoyed it herself. Nearly every dancer and server that was here has now since moved on but our waitress that evening was an incredible young woman who looked quite stunning in her corseted outfit. She would consistently sit and chat with both of us. The first 'cattle call' of the evening occurred scant minutes after we arrived and sat down at the main stage. My first impression never left my throat when I looked up at the balcony to find 12 lovely young women in long evening gowns complete with gloves and heels. This is something that RARELY happens folks. I cannot tell you how much I love a classy club. I told the very first lady on stage when she leaned down to acknowledge me that I would have no complaints if she kept the dress on for her whole performance. I didn't have the food that night but I hadn't heard much about the food while it was Thee Dollhouse. The Men's Club. First thing I heard about the name change was the food. And the buffet. Very quickly the MC became a go-to spot for people on their lunch breaks and for afternoon visits on their days off. The framed posters inside changed around (including one I am STILL trying to convince management to let me buy from them!) and the lighting seemed to be adjusted some more to provide a more intimate environment. The MC provides an After Hours venue which the prices are a bit higher but the lap dances are more private and more of a one-on-one sense. That may seem a tad cryptic but you'll see if you get a lap dance during this time of evening. Over the years of living near the MC I have met so many great ladies (patrons, servers and dancers) and continue to keep up with some even today through social media and email. This place is clean, not too loud, very reasonably priced (as long as you don't use the in-house ATM) and staffed by some very professional men and women. And lastly, there are some VERY amazing pole-dancing talent here. You're in for a show. Here's some tips especially for the men. Don't flash $100 and think that alone is going to get you world-class treatment. Don't sit 10 rows back and watch girl after girl after girl perform without getting up here and there to tip. Believe me you'll be well known to the entire staff before your first hour is up. Tip and tip often especially when you see something you appreciate. You want to make it rain? Come to my house and do it there. I wouldn't mind picking up discarded dollar bills instead of fall leaves. You look like a total asshat 'making it rain' with 10 bucks worth of $1s. Do that with $20s or even $100s and I'll probably come by your table to share your air because you obviously are there to enjoy yourself. Bring plenty of cash. Don't use the ATM. Don't get the dance dollars. Tip your servers. Arrange a cab pickup or ask the hostess to help you.. don't drink and drive. Watch what you drink. I've never seen anyone purposefully add drinks onto a tab here but mistakes can happen. The MC has been a great spot for first dates. Yes, first dates. The exterior and interior are not what you expect off the middle of the highway in no man's land. The quality of the gals was awesome and fit all variety types.
