Oh what a beautiful store for...necessary items. There are books, candles, festive items and so very many toys. There were several unmentioned devices with motors that could be sampled too. The staff asked if I needed help once and left me alone to peruse. Now I must confess that the outside of the store makes it look like its from either a horror set or a strip club (the female mannequins in lingerie set under glaring red light are terrifying)--how gauche! I am not the sort to patronize a red light district! I'm glad that it did not deter me, however, as soon as I walked it it was quite clean and classy. *Whew* I admit that I had never set foot in such a place, before I walked in, but it was worth the trip. Don't waste your time really. The sales people had a pretentious attitudes and were not helpful nor did they seem like they wanted my business. I asked about a bullet and one froze up like she never heard the word before. There was another slamming a door continuously like a customer was not in the store. So I realized that i have been going to this store for years and haven't wrote a review yet! SORRY!! But also, thank you to Erick, the manager from Cherry Pie, suggesting that I do so. First of all, I have been in love with Frisky since the day I walked in. I have been to every adult store in the NW Raleigh area, and theres not one that can compare to Frisky, period. Now let me tell you WHY i love Frisky. THE STAFF!! I have never met a more competent, helpful, funny, normal in all ways, excellent staff! I just love them! They are always ready to help without being pushy and creepy like some stores! They are clean, well dressed, professional group of individuals. They tell you exactly how it is about a product, and usually a personal experiance/opinion on it. And if that staff member doesn't know, they find someone who does. They have no problem taking an item out of the package (if they don't have a display model out) and showing you how it works. That impressed me the most, because most places don't do that. They have a large range of toys, some are the cheaper made toys, some are mid range in price/quality, and then they carry the cream of the crop! I love that I can go and have the option of what to buy in my price range for that visit. They have a large and i mean large, organized, DVD selection, including some topics that are hard to find in your average store.You can also rent movies from them too! They have a decent BDSM selection, with items other than just handcuffs, they have some REAL DEAL items there that look like something out of a movie!! But I love that they have that option there for people! I've never seen that in ANY other adult store in our area. They have a large selection of clothing too, from the cheaper flimsy items to real corsets and leather items. They also have shoes, wigs, and other accessories too. They have a small section of gag gifts, i think the clone a penis is funny as all get out!! They also cater to the gay/lesbian community with a large selection of toys (such as high quality strap ons), DVD's, and other items. They have a nice selection of lubricants of all kinds, as well as testers for each. Once again, this is also were staff has been wonderfully helpful with helping you pick the right one for your needs. Also, this store is CLEAN, well lit, and relaxing. This place has everything you need, for umm, you know. Staff is very friendly and helpful but they don't try to up-sell or pressure you into making regretful purchases. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You can discuss all types of crazy things with the staff and probably not feel weird -- they probably heard it all before. In fact, have some fun with it. Ask lots of questions! They have lingerie and toys as you'd expect. The person I spoke to stressed the fact that their toys are free of toxins -- haven't worried about that before but good to know! They also have games and classes if you're looking for a little extra source of creativity. If you want to be a little edgy then consider giving a gift card -- that's what brought me into the store. One of the staff members was rude and had no customer service skills. It's already a little uncomfortable going into an adult store. She just made it worst. Okay, so my fiance has been hanging onto a gift card to this place for over a year -- not for lack of inspiration, but it is a little out of the way for us! We finally were able to swing by this past weekend. I have to agree with Eric, there is quite a difference in the variety of toys offered here compared to Adam and Eve or even Cherry Pie. And their 'edgier' selection is pretty well-stocked and diverse as well. Staff couldn't be nicer. Stayed out of our way while we were browsing, but were quick to answer questions, unpack items, and offer assistance when we needed. Seems to lack a bit in fantasy wear, lubes, and bachelorette items, and I didn't see any games -- so if you're specifically seeking those sorts of things, you might do better elsewhere. read more

On a whim my husband and I decided to the spend a Friday evening shopping for sex toys... After a couple of failed attempts at other places (at which point our fun adventure was becoming more of a chore) we stumbled into Frisky Business. Their selection was top notch and the staff was just amazing. They had an uncanny sense of when we needed help, and when we were just browsing or goofing off. Not pushy or sleazy but not unavailable either. I had some very specific things that I was searching for and they were great about pointing me in the right direction. They even let me take things out of the box to see the different modes etc. Oh and they gave me extra watch batteries for the bullet I got. That was way nice. Basically, we had a blast, learned all kinds of new things, left with several new toys/accessories, and had an overall great night. We will definitely be back. read more
