When I originally called I stated I am not with my car it's stuck in a ditch the said the base is $150 and may be a "little " more I asked to have it towed to my address in advance Steve was nice but the other guy with him was a jerk was rude and snappy to my husband who is African gave straight racist vibes !! They tell me after hooking up my car that it will be $354 after tax I asked if there is anyway to drop the price a tiny bit Steve said I had to talk to Kathy ! I call talk to Kathy and all she did was be rude has 0 skills in kind customer service basically told me tough shit if I don't pay it they won't give me my car they should have told me the price before hooking my car up !!! They get here and the pricef up to $377 and they just left my car in the middle of the street!! For me to deal with after paying ! They said my wheel was locked which I know it was not before I left my car there it had full motion!! I feel scammed and didn't even get the service I should have gotten for paying almost $400 out of my pocket! Bad place I will never ever go to them again ! People that work in customer service should be honest and kind and they were not Steve was the only nice one!! Kathy needs some training on customer service and needs to get the tree that's shoved up her ass out so she can be kind!! And Steve's coworker also needs some lessons on how to not be obviously racist !!! Treating my husband the way he did stuck up like a little boy that's ingnorent!! read more

I live in Des Moines, Iowa ....not SF Porch Pirates are more reasonable. (BAH-Humbug Towing) I Contacted firm in Newton 12/6/2019 to get car. My car was towed without my knowledge by these people on 12/11/2019 (vehicle was located with in 2 miles of my property) before people from Newton cold pick iit up. 12/23/2019 found out that RICKS had my car and towed it to grimes with out my knowledge or consent. Before 5.PM today- towing, storage, lot fee and whatever else BS- $407 dollars. THIS IS THE LAST PLACE TO HAVE ANY TOWING??? or ROAD SIDE SERVICE???? wonder what they would charge to baby sit my Kids??????? read more

Called the towing company for a tow out of a ditch. Called for a quote to get it pulled out of the ditch. I was quoted $100 for a tow that was 6 feet from the road. They said the price varies based on how far the tow. They said that they were running behind and the wait would be 2-3 hours waited and never heard anything back. So I went home to wait for the tow truck driver to call me when he was on his way to the destination. In the meantime a cop had it towed by the same company and I never received my phone call. Went in to pick up the car and the ticket was for $350 and it was because they were not open until Monday for me to pick up car. I am still receiving notices to pick up my car from them with a bill. When I call they had no clue thinking I left my car there instead of picking it up. Waiting on another call back for them to find out the resolution. How do you follow up with someone with out a phone number? Price was unreasonable and the customer service could use some work. Follow up call was never received. I called back and she had to research the invoice number. Comes back online and stares why are you calling? I said because of this bill your sending me. Argues with me about the call back. I'm like I'm not here to argue with you I want to know the status of this invoice is it taken care of or not. It was but could have been handled way better. I'm going to make a complaint to the city of which holds their contracts. read more

One of their drivers just passed me on the interstate going 25 or more over the speed limit swerving. It's 2 o'clock in the morning and there's no one on the road and no need to be driving that fast. Their trucks are equipped with lights, if there is an emergency use them. Extremely unsafe practices with such a large vehicle, total disregard for safety of others. read more
