I can honestly say I thought this experience would be great, but it has turned out to be the worst…read morechoice I could have made. I am a God-fearing woman, so I like to take people at their word. Two men came to my house about three weeks ago to give me an estimate. The estimate was to fix my ceiling from falling in the garage and paint the garage. Isaiah did a lot of talking at first, but he seemed to be an honest guy. Now, the job is halfway done. There needs to be another coat of paint applied and the borders painted. So, on the last day of the job, Isaiah stated that he would come back on Monday to complete the job. So, he wanted the rest of his money because he would finish it the following week. So, he sent me an invoice that was more than the original invoice, I question him on it. He seemed to be upset because I was asking why it was more. He said it took more time to complete and I said that was not my fought that he went over. So, I wanted the work completed before I pay. Then Isaiah said he would put a lean on my house and that he would not complete the work. "He stated that no one works for free". Then I went on and paid the amount he asked for, then he said the work would be completed next week. The next day I received a text from Isaiah that his truck was having problems but, he planned to have it done. Then I sent a text to him and no response. So, I reached out today December 12, and the phone went to voice mail twice. So, I used a co-worker's phone then he picked up and stated did I receive an email from him. I stated no, he stated the email is on the way. No email yet! Go figure, your word is your bond. This is why it is hard to trust people. Especially our own. Very disappointing. Ms. Robinson
