I got the groupon for this place and am glad I didn't pay full price. While the detail was decent the customer service was terrible. The only way to set up an appointment is through email which in and of itself is not efficient, and its only made worse by their lack of communication. I emailed them and called didn't hear back for 3 days. When I finally did hear back they did not offer full information and it took several replies before I got an appointment. It's also not clear that you won't be able to wait for your car to be done. You HAVE to drop it off and have someone pick you up. The area is super sketchy and it's extremely hard to find the actual location it just looks like a bunch of rundown garages. I would not recommend going here. read more

I have to give this place a two thumbs up! I bought a Groupon for an interior clean and after emailing a bit back and forth, I made an appointment. My car was cleaned thoroughly, both seats and mats. They also offered me an external car wash while I was there for an extra $15. The one thing that I greatly appreciated was that I had scraped the side of my car against a pole and there was this ugly scratch. The guys here buffed out the scratch for an additional $15 and then had another person from a body shop nearby come and look at it and he gave me an estimate of how to completely fix it. I will make a second appointment to completely fix the scratch, however the buffing made the scratch look 90% better. You can barely tell there was a gash in the side of my car. These guys were professional, kind and even let me use their wifi to do some work while I waited for about 90 minutes for my car. I give 4 stars because the place is hard to find. However if you text the number of the company, they will call u and direct u to their shop. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back. read more

Went there via Groupon. Took a couple days to finalize the reservation via email. The interior of my car was rather filthy - floors mainly. Took about 1.5 hours to complete (a small 4-door hatchback), waited in his office. Car done, got inside and everything looked clean and new again. He cleaned the hatchback area, carpets, floor mats, dash, and even got the gunk out of the cup area. Very satisfied with no complaints. Would return without any Groupon. Thank you. read more

Brian was wishy washy and difficult to schedule an appointment with..and by the way, he will only come to you 3 days a week during work hours, which is extremely inconvenient. I spent a week researching detailing companies who currently had Groupons (there are over fifty on there in the DMV right now!), and finally decided on Ride Clean. A lot of the other companies had poor reviews on Yelp, in terms of being unable to reach the company/make appointments/not getting refunded. I am SO happy I did the research and found Brian. He was available for a SAME DAY appointment! I drove 45 minutes to Beltsville to have my car detailed on a Friday afternoon and would do it again in a heartbeat--worth every minute. I had two years of dog hair in the back seat in addition to crumbs, dust, dirt etc. My car looks brand new! Not only is he the best priced, he was efficient, friendly, and his commitment to his business and having happy customers says it all. I had a great experience with Ride Clean Auto Detailing as a mother of two young kids (2 and 1) my car is always filthy. Brian cleaned my SUV thoroughly. All the juice stains, unreachable food and trash, you name was removed. Brian had my SUV spotless and cleaned beyond the allotted time at no extra charge. He returned my car back to me better than the dealer sold it to me from the dealership. Brian was nice enough to honor my Groupon even after it expired. Please save yourself the trip to even try to find the place. Horrible customer service by the owner. I did not get all the services paid for. My seats, seat belts, carpets, mats and trunk were not washed, the inside windows not washed, fabric was not treated!!!! That's more then half of what's included in interior cleaning!!! Brian did an exceptional job on my car! My husband and I went out for a date night and somehow the sauce from my leftover fish spilled in my car (I know...GROSS!) so of course my car smelled like fish (GROSS again!). I wiped down my car but still could not get rid of the smell for the life of me. I knew remnants still had to be in my car but I just didn't know where. That's when I contacted Brian about an interior detailing and he cleaned my car inside and out, thankfully finding where the sauce dripped. Now my car looks and smells great! I should also add that I had only planned on getting the interior detailed but asked Brian at the time of my appointment if he could do the exterior as well and without hesitating he kindly did both. I will definitely contact Ride Clean the next time I need a car detailing service and I have already recommended them to others. Lessons Learned: (1) Never ever bring leftover fish in the car with you in the event it may spill and (2) always keep the number of a reliable detailing service (Ride Clean) nearby in the event you unexpectedly need them.
