I do not recommend Cypress Driving Academy…read more The staff was friendly and accommodating while I was considering enrollment. However, once I signed up, the level of customer service changed dramatically. When I called with questions, the phone representative, Jane, was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Scheduling drive times was unnecessarily difficult, and the instructions provided throughout the process were often unclear and inadequate. The online portal is outdated, poorly organized, and not user-friendly, making an already frustrating process even more challenging. While Jane seemed familiar with basic procedures, she was unable or unwilling to provide clear answers to more detailed questions. Instead of receiving helpful guidance, I often felt rushed off the phone without the information I needed. Driving education is an important investment for both parents and teenagers. Families should expect professionalism, clear communication, and responsive customer service throughout the entire experience--not just during enrollment. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe it is important for other families to be aware of these issues before committing their time and money. Based on my experience, there are other driving schools that offer a far better customer experience and greater value.

If this is what you're going to this school for, then it's great value and worth it. I wouldn't recommend actually learning from this place (seems overpriced compared to just doing it online). But if you don't have the time to teach your kids to drive, seems like this place will work. I wouldn't know tho, never went to this place for actual driver ed classes. Customer service was good. Never had any problems. Chill environment, driving instructor during the test is very easy to work with. Front desk ladies are helpful with informing me of all the documents I needed.

I attended both the classroom and driving instruction, but stopped attending after the third driving lesson. The lady who answers the phone, Susan Seeton, has a bit of a bad attitude, but was a great classroom instructor. She explained every concept thoroughly, and made sure you understood before moving on. The driving instructors, on the other hand, didn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. My final time was with a black gentleman (I don't remember his name), and he had a terrible attitude, was rude, and unprofessional. After I had gotten in the car, he asked me what to do next, I said "buckle up." and for some reason he mocked me for saying this and got angry i didn't say it in a more proper tone ?? He would scream at me and slam his fists on the dashboard if I did not change lanes quickly enough, said he hoped I would hit the curb so he could hear me scream, and embarrassed me in front of a woman in the backseat, who was also a student. He stressed that I should turn the wheel "hand-to-hand", which no normal driver does, and the technique made me turn sloppy and far too slow for traffic. Anytime I would turn the normal way, he would grab my hand and try to force me to turn the wheel the dumb way. genuinely contemplated finding a place to park and switching right then and there. If it was not for the classroom instruction, I would've given the place one star.

We arrived here on a Saturday in Mid-March on a sunny day where the track was filled with vehicles and nothing but sounds of engines and tires screeching. If you're a racing guy or someone who loves cars, then this was paradise. As you pull in here, there's a garage with a bleachers area that oversees the track. The track has some sharp turns making it a fun yet nervewracking experience if you're not familiar with the track. By my second and third laps in the car, I got the hang of it and decided to let it rip. Boy oh boy, I get why people are obsessed with vehicles and engines since the feeling from the acceleration is pure ecstasy from a thrill perspective. Depending what events are here, I encourage people to try this at least once for the experience. It's not cheap so be prepared to spend some cash for the need for speed!

I'd never put my 1997 Viper on a track before, so I eagerly accepted an offer of instruction from Samuel, who was volunteering his time. Huge thanks - his positive, enthusiastic advice made a big difference. I didn't need a stopwatch to know I was going a lot faster afterward. One of the most fun single days I've had. Highly recommended!
