Mike is an exceptional professional instructor with outstanding communication skills. He's patient, approachable, easy to talk to -- and just a really nice guy! They gave us a private class on threat assessment, surveillance, counter surveillance measures and a few other things we had questions about. They offer IR sweeps, FLIR sweeps and night vision sweeps of the area surrounding your house and neighborhood to find hidden/game cameras. Once the initial clearing is done, They also offer weekly maintenance sweeps for clients' peace of mind. A whole neighborhood takes them less than 10 minutes, so it's not expensive. There's a ton of other stuff they offer that I won't go into, but if you have questions, call them. They are experts on everything security/investigation related.

There are a lot of rules like but that's because they emphasize a lot on safety. The range rules are always on the website and the ranges themselves. People in the range are pretty friendly where they will give you clamps or staples if you forget to bring some and let you try out their rifles. If you want to shoot steel with pistols or mine and shoot it takes extra certifications to allow you to do that. If the roles are too much then you might be better off going elsewhere cause there are more restrictions here.

My experience with Central Texas Gunworks was honestly shocking…read more My girlfriend and I ordered a firearm that was originally quoted to arrive in about 10 days. Instead, the order took over six weeks to arrive. Frustrating, but we were patient and waited. When the firearm arrived, my girlfriend went to pick it up. The store advertises closing at 6:00 PM, and she arrived after work at 5:55 PM. The gun was paid for so this was simply a pickup. When she arrived, the employees were already outside sitting in their cars getting ready to leave. She politely asked if they could go inside and complete the pickup since it was still before closing. Instead of helping her, the employees laughed at each other and joked about whether they were going to do it, then told her to "just come back tomorrow." She explained she had rushed there after work and arrived before closing. They claimed the credit card machine was broken, which was irrelevant because the firearm was already paid for. The worst part about this, the store owner Michael, sat and listened. and never lifted his head from his lap. Despite arriving before the posted closing time, and after waiting six weeks for an order that was supposed to take ten days, they refused to help her and continued dismissing her request. She was laughed at and treated with complete disrespect. This wasn't just inconvenient, it was unprofessional and humiliating customer service. If your business advertises that it closes at 6:00 PM, customers should be able to expect service until 6:00 PM, not be turned away at 5:55 by employees who have already decided they're done for the day. After a six-week delay, the least a business could do is treat a customer with basic respect. I hope this is addressed because no paying customer should be treated this way.

Best thing to do is to call when delivery is made to make sure. I used this as a transfer once a while back and they don't have text or email updates when your transfer is ready which would have been nice. I also went here recently for just the TLC shooting qualification. The instructor Mike was really helpful walking through the process. For people that are less experienced in the range they will get taken care of and instruction if needed to keep the range safe. I did have to listen to an insurance sales pitch even though i did take the full class here. But that just seems like a norm these days.
