She paid for an uber from campus, checked in and waited in the waiting room for over 45 mins. When she approached the desk to check on wait times, she was told "Oh, we don't take your insurance anymore. We'll cancel your copay. You can just leave." This very sick young woman left in tears. Unacceptable to let her sit right in front of you for almost an hour and not tell her she could not be seen. Outrageous, callous front desk behavior. Strongly suggest you go somewhere else.

Type of care was diagnostic and once they knew my problem they prescribed Rx to make it go away! They are my go to emergency. Best to check out services before you need them. There are services they cannot offer.

They didn't give her MRIs CAT scans just in the x-ray of her nose. That was ridiculous and then they put you out in the lobby waiting to wait for the x-ray for the nose. We must've got there like at 10:30 didn't leave till 5 o'clock in the morning. You can clearly see they have no staff no doctors because nobody was coming and going. Then order suddenly at maybe 3:30 AM people started moving inside and coming and going and being seen. Definitely Putnam Hospital much better.

Also in the emergency waiting room it was so many people sick coughing they never wipe done any seats. Patience came and left and seen patience sit in same unsanitary seats. I also saw nurses with there ear pods in there ear the whole time. You can hear nurses complain about there computer screen keep dying. This is Danbury hospital. Don't come here
