Last night, I visited the store (which was completely empty with the exception of two employees near the register). I notice that they had a bottle that I was interested in opened for sampling. I politely inquired about the bourbon and requested a sample. The gentleman who was reading something behind the counter, stated that he could not assist me as the store could get busy at any moment?!?. When I retorted that there were two of them idly standing there and I was the only person in the store, he responded, "Don't argue with me". This person must be the owner. I cannot imagine any other employee being this obnoxious. Guess that I need to find another local store to spend my insignificant $200.

We brought our HCB growler from home and headed in on a Saturday night. It was pretty quiet considering the day, which left us with time for some beer tasting and recommendations from the staff. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I try to stop by, as I'll usually find something that my household hasn't yet tasted.
