After couple of weeks in that school she suggested that my son most likely will end up in special education class! She said it just like that. She didn't try to find any solution to help him she just said that to my face and left. It got me so mad but I didn't wan my boy to have any problems with this hormonal piece of sh...t so I kept quiet and got him best tutor I could get. After couple of months my son was scoring well above average on all their test and was suggested that he gets in more intensive program because he was so good. So much for her special education!!!!!! She was just to lazy to help my son, she would send no extra work home or nothing to even help me. Thankfully We're not in that school any more. After going thru hell thanks to the Norridge new superintendent. We have need discriminated over renting our house, discriminated over not being married and I have been treated like second class citizen because I have an accent!!!! Thanks a lot Giles school my son is going to3 rd grade now and still hates to talk about the "Norridge School" . Thanks for horrible drop offs and pick ups, thanks for throwing the children outside on freezing days, thanks for the yelling cafeteria teacher, thanks for starving my son on lunches because they had to hold their hands above their heads as a punishment for most of the time, thanks for your bulling problem, thank you for everything. I graduated here in 1985 and now my daughter is there in 6th grade. I checked other schools in the…read morearea and was not interested in overcrowded, outdated technology (if any at all) that other schools offered. Realized tuition was less than half of daycare! The curriculum is by far the best in the area with Spanish classes, computer classes where each child has their own computer to work on, Promethean boards to assist our teachers, and advanced math in junior high.The core curriculum is tailored for excellence not to test taking. Before and after care are offered and private music lessons. The teacher to student ratio is perfect. No chance my daughter will slip through the cracks. This school is an anchor in our community and our children leave here getting scholarships to area private high schools because they are so well prepared! I highly recommend St. Francis Borgia!!!

I would've…read moregiven this place 1 star back in the day, but I've really come to appreciate what I gained by going here. Its an all boys school and it really helped keep my head in the game. Since there were no girls here you could really behave in a way only permissalbe in this type of environment. These days they require hair samples to check for drugs, really kind of a turn off, but I would have to see about the complete nature of this system. The building and overall environment has gone through some drastic remodeling and only continued to improve the education offered there. It really is the last of a handfull of catholic all boys schools in the city and in my opinion the most robust. I was the first generation in my family to go here, and would possibly consider sending my child (if i ever have any) here if the opportunity arose. Although they might be hesitant of accepting any of my offspring considering what I put them through.

An all-boys school should not be promoting any influence against women's bodies. 2. These are young boys who are still navigating their beliefs, and teachers should not influence this type of rhetoric. I understand this is a common Catholic belief (along with anti-birth control when it comes to contraceptives), but I think a lot of those students will look back on this demonstration with regret as adults.
