We found this with a quick little Google search and it was very close to our hotel. We got right in and had a great waiter named Martin. The service was great. The food was very good. The first day I got the chicken Cordon Bleu and it was delicious. The second night I got a pork roast dish with a mushroom gravy and cheese spaetzle. My mom, the first night had pumpkin soup and the second night also had the goulash. We enjoyed our meals very much and would recommend. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great as well. It felt authentic, and the servers also wore authentic German outfits as well so that was fun.

Abensberg is a quaint village in the midst of Bavaria, and many of the locals consider the huge gold tower of the Kuchlbauer to be an eyesore. I would agree with them because the colorful and vibrant architecture would look less alien in a bigger town like Regensberg or Munich. I did the entire tour a few years back so I don't remember many details but it was all in German. They do no tours in other languages. I also remember it being very random and unrelated to the brewing process at times. The view from the top of the tower is beautiful. The Biergarten is open to anyone whether you've done the tour or not, and the prices are great! They brew very good beer, and the food they serve is yummy also. I had the Caprese Salad and the mozzarella was super fresh. If you're driving through Bavaria, stop by! The locals and friendly and the beer is great.

Place is well organized, with guided tours. We didnt find the information in english, but girls on the reception were kind enough to give us the information. As we came long after guided tour, we just enjoyed nice beer and a pratzel right under the tour. The iconic white beer was absolutely delicious and it was 2,5 EUR it definitely put a smile on our faces. Whole area is beautifully done itno great detail. There are so many things to look at! I would recommend this stop to all architecure lovers, beer lovers and kids, because this is so colorful and shiny, they will definitely remember it and it will become a nice highlight of the trip.
