Dan is professional in his work, friendly and knew what he was doing. He responded quickly to my text and was able to give us a bid based on the photos we sent for two new bathroom exhaust fans. His bid stayed the same once he came out to do the work. He was efficient and left area clean. He installed new thin wafer LED ceiling lights in living room and primary bedroom where there were NO ceiling lights prior, added a center electrical box for future ceiling fan to be installed, swapped out outdated ceiling lights in kitchen and bathrooms, changed dimmers to work with new lighting.  He also was able to solve a very complicated issue of several GFCI's not working throughout the home. Was definitely not a clearcut answer to the problem, but Dan was determined to figure it out and resolved it methodically and quickly. Dan is awesome! We had a few things needing fixing including a pendant light replaced, porch light, and some under counter lighting that had long since been out of service. Dan was super quick with responding and flexible with scheduling, which helped me as I am teacher and getting time off is difficult. He asked for some photos beforehand and came prepared with all the items needed to do the repairs. He was super friendly, efficient and great at communicating. He had a tricky situation that he worked hard on for quite a while (old under counter lighting) and solved the problem. He even checked our electrical panel at the last moment. I'm glad I gave Dan Riel a chance. When I saw he only had one Yelp review, I was going to pass him by. But I took the time to look at his write-up in the "About the Business" section and I'm glad it did. Something caught my eye. After getting a couple of other quotes, I chose Dan. I found him professional, personable and honest. I asked him to install a 50 amp circuit for an EV charger. He worked with me on placement and scoped out the details of the circuit breaker, parts, etc. His work was meticulous and I could see he took pride in doing it right. It reminded me of Steve Jobs, who insisted the inside of a product must be as good as the outside, even if no one would ever see it. That's the way Dan did the install. I asked him why he had only one review and he said he stopped asking people because Yelp's algorithm would either not post them or delete them after a short period of time. I hired Riel Electric to install a 220 circuit for a new electric hot water heater. Daniel communicated very well, was on time, provided a free, accurate, & competitive estimate on site, and was very professional & friendly, He replaced an existing 50A breaker with the required 30A breaker, ran wire behind drywall, and installed a junction box in the proper location. Replacement & repair of the drywall was included in his estimate - - and it's very good dry wall repair. He left everything as he found it - clean.
