They were able to get me in at the end of the day. The technician was so kind and helpful. He replaced the main breaker and got the power back on. I did not have a good experience with these guys. They quoted me to install a 120VAC circuit and disconnect switch to a minisplit, and add 2 additional 120VAC circuits. All was fine with the quote. The two "electricians" who showed up to provide the service looked to not even be 21. It was wet and muddy outside, and they didn't lay down any plastic or use booties. I had multiple rugs ruined because of this. On top of that, they installed a 240VAC circuit instead of 120VAC. They also did not add the additional circuits the first time around. After reaching out, they agreed to come make it "right". Which means to do the work they quoted in the first place. Well, I'll be honest, I'm not an electrician, but I work with low voltage electrical, so I have some basic knowledge on NFPA 70 AKA The National Electric Code. While you technically are allowed to use type NM-B wire in a plenum or raceway, it IS NOT allowed in damp or wet areas, which outdoors would be considered. These "electricians" don't seem to know simplex electrical codes. You use THHN in a raceway for wet or damp environments, NOT NM-B! The cherry on top is that the PVC they used doesn't even penetrate my house. They didn't use a stub(short section of pipe going from 1 side a wall to the other, to protect the wire from any hazards inside of the wall.) They used an elbow that just touches the outside of my brick wall, doesn't even fit into the hole they drilled where they're running plain NM-B from my crawlspace to the outside. You absolutely will NOT save money with this company. Pay more and have a higher quality contractor provide your electrical services. Buy one cry once. I'm having to buy twice because of their incompetence. read more

Hired based upon good reviews across all platforms, but probably could have done a better job had I attempted it myself. Brand new installation locations, not covering pre-existing holes. The dual switch isn't even in the location discussed (both hooks were to be removed and the switch as close to the edge of the wall as possible, they never indicated a problem). The vanity light box is off center, even by their own mark, and did not clean up the mess made. I honestly have no idea how they even peeled that much ceiling cutting a hole for the exhaust fan. When I said all this was unacceptable, they said they don't do drywall repairs. Supposedly the office is going to be contacting me to figure out a solution, will update if they do. But definitely would not recommend as of now. read more

Used to be a fan, but they seriously failed to provide some expert insight as I upgraded from very old 3 prong outlets to 2 prong as I was putting my house on the market. They presented two options for my 26 outlets: GFCI ($87/outlet) and normal ($53/outlet). They offered that likely, the normal outlets would be sufficient to get thru house inspection. Well, no way. Per the inspection, for areas around water (kitchen & bathrooms), I now know you need GFCI. This has been substantiated by others I know who aren't even electricians. When I went back to see Joe Schmo would meet me halfway on upgrading them, they said: "No way - $87/outlet to upgrade." Really disappointing - wish I had googled the difference myself. read more

Each time they were very quick and honest about what the issues were, first time bathroom outlets not work and second visit kitchen outlets not working. I had them install a heater in my garage (I know 1st world problems) but any way they did an excellent job. They were on time for the estimate and installation and both guys that came out were very courteous and professional. The woman that does the scheduling is awesome as well. We had an intermittent problem. The lights in the hall, a bathroom and sockets in a bedroom would stop working. Sometimes for days at a time and then "magically" come back on. When Eric arrived everything was working, of course. But Eric went to work trouble-shooting the problem. He found issues with the light fixture in the hallway and fixed, and then tracked down a problem in the circuit box. Had to fix a neutral wire. Everything now works great! No more flickering lights and the intermittent problem with a GFI socket are fixed. Thank you very much. (note: we had another electrician out over a year ago and was of no help). I needed an electrician to come ground some wires so I could have a new furnace installed in the dead of winter. I mentioned I was without heat and he was at my house within the hour. The Electric Panel fried due to the load of the Furnace (it was cold) and also fried my newer Furnace. My job had me in Texas, so it was just my wife two daughter, and they were panic as to what to do. The temps were estimated to drop even lower to below Zero in the next day. Joe Schmo's electricians came out in that night and had to use flashlights as it was pitch dark in the basement and it was chilly as well. As mentioned, they did the job the nite I called (It was late afternoon when it happened). Called around (Mr. Electric/Sparky all they wanted to talk about is overtime. eta, Not Joe, He just made a stop at his place to obtain a 200 Amp Panel and breakers, so the Heating contractor could repair the Furnace the next day.
