A few weekends later I take it on the first break in run. I get to about 30 miles on the machine and the transmission blew up internally! My dad, daughter, and I were stranded in the desert for 2 hours and had to call a 4x4 recovery to come get the RZR. I take it to the local dealer and guess what they found? The transmission had zero fluid and was bone dry! All-Terrain signed a PDI saying everything was checked including all fluids but that is obviously a lie, just check marking off without inspecting. Also found the battery terminals were loose, missing bolts, warped door panels and also a warped skid plate. I let All-Terrain know about this and all they say is "Sorry that happened, take it to your local dealer and they will help you out" I am out $350 for my tow that never would have happened if they ACTUALLY checked all the fluids like they said they did. Also who knows how long I will be without my RZR for repairs that shouldn't have happened. Very unhappy with All-Terrain and I guarantee they could care less because they already got my $$$. I will update this review if they make things right for me.

PART 1 This is the second time i brought my brand new…read morePolaris to this place and swore i would write a review the first time but never got around to it. Last time i brought it there for warranty work they gave me a date to bring it in and i brought it in the day before so they get working on it first thing. As soon as i walked in i should have known i was in for a rollercoaster. The women at the counter (Harmony) (I dont know her and i had never met her before this day) first words to me were "i feel horrible, i just threw up". i was a little shocked by this but it really had nothing to do with my RZR so i greeted her and mentioned i was dropping off my RZR there for repair. She proceeded to give me about 4 excuses as to why they were not going to be able to do the work as promised. I was not in a big hurry so i kinda didn't pay attention to her complaining about her job to me. Once i got back in town (about 2 weeks later) i luckily called because they told me it wasn't ready yet. They explained to me that they did me a favor and updated my computer and ordered a new spark plug wire (which they said was the problem). i was a little shocked they a spark plug wire wasnt something they stocked and had to order. I also asked when they figured this out because UPS/Fedex work pretty well in this country and a spark plug wire could be here next day air for $30. The answer i received was they just figured it out (mind you this is two weeks after the appointment i made which was 1 month out). She (Harmony) told me they will see the spark plug wire within a week and should have the RZR working within a few days.............. I kinda thought she was trying to be funny...I responded by saying "it takes a few days to ship a spark plug wire? and then it takes a few days to put it on???" Her response didnt surprise me, "well we want to make sure we do everything perfect for you" " you don't want to get it on the trail and have it break, right?" I had a million things to say but realized she just wouldnt understand anything i said so i just said "Ok, i will call you next week". I called a week later to hear another BS story about her tech being sick, blah blah blah and how they are so backed up, blah blah blah. She said the wire should come in Friday and i could pick it up Saturday. I called Friday to double check and of course she doesnt have time to check to see if the wire showed up but said she would call me tomorrow if it gets done. Needless to say, this is beyond frustrating. Her job is to check the inventory and let me know if my RZR will be ready for the weekend. SO Saturday i wake up and call and she says "yes the wire came in and you can pick it up today" i am very excited and end up planning to head out of town with the RZR Saturday night for a Sunday Ride. I start driving there about 4pm and i get the call "Hi, we put the spark plug wire in and it won't start now. So you can't pick it up" I responded " so are they trying to figure out what the problem is" Her response "NO!!!! its Saturday night, i mean if we had time they would look, but we close in an hour or so and they dont want to try and figure it out and realize its something bigger" At this point i already understand the type of person i am dealing with and so i know she isn't joking with me and i respond "Ok so you are closing in an hour and you dont open until Tuesday morning, right" she agrees so i say "OK i am going to pick it up and try and figure it out on my own, if i can't figure it out i will bring it back Tuesday morning before you open", She acts and sounds extremely puzzled by my response and says "why would you do that?" Of course the obvious is because i want to try and fix it myself, so this is what i tell her and she still sounds annoyed and replies "so you think you are smarter than the techs here who have been doing this for years", My response was "well if i bring it home and figure it out in one day, then i think you will have your answer, right". So i show up and load it up, they end up breaking my Fiberglass Flag pole and so i walk back in before i leave and speak to Harmony again. "Hi, i just wanted you to see the damage before i leave" she immediately says, "that was like that when it got here" i am shocked and before i can speak she barks at me and says "we didnt do that". i pause and and say "you didnt do what?????" she replies "the damage" So i say i havent even told you what was broken yet, so how do you even know what i am talking about?" Of course in her puzzled state i end up telling her its the flag pole (its basically a $10 piece that obviously broke off when they pulled into the garage). She now says "ok i will get the manager to speak to you about this" This is important because she basically tells me that someone else (the manager) is going to deal with this-this will be important later in the story.
