Ron was awesome. I was having some trailer wiring issues on my way west and he was able to come take a look at it. The solution was NOT an "easy fix" and I had already been turned away a few times with people that were "too busy". Ron found the problem and fixed it as well as another "soon to crap out" wire (due to rubbing from improperly stored chain hookups). I am soo appreciative for his kick ass work ethic in helping pinpoint AND solve my issues! Highly recommend! read more

The general manager, Dustin Smith is the most gracious and generous manager alive! I'm not kidding. We were traveling through and stopped for one night at the KOA in Silt, CO. We noticed that our hitch to our travel trailer sheared a bolt. We live in California so we have a long way to travel. Dustin found the exact part we needed simply gave it to us free of charge. The part was unusual but he had a used one. We were so happy we cried because of his generosity. We are now safe to travel back home. Dustin and the parts person (didn't get his name) made our trip a success! Never let these guys go. They deserve a raise! read more

We are full time RV, and went over some wavy highway near Parachute Colorado, when we got to the KOA we noticed the hitch wasn't level anymore seemed the two bolts holding it togeather had slipped. Called Corey at Western Slope Trailer and he said to bring it over. Very friendly people, Dak was the technician, he replaced a grade 8 bolt and lock washer, inspected and tightened everything up, very polite young man. We were only there a total of 30 minutes. For service they are really on their game. If you need service, or even a new trailer this is the place to go. They sell all kinds of trailers and accessories. Thankyou for excellant service. I made an appointment three weeks ahead of time for warranty work on my camper that I bought from them. When I dropped it off they told me I'd be lucky to have it looked at on the day it was scheduled for. Why make an appointment if they don't honor it? Also when I bought my camper from them, I had to ask them to vacuum out the mouse poop and metal shavings all over the inside of the camper. Not much concern for the customer here. read more

Western Slope Trailer took our money in fall of 2013 to "fix" our pop up camper and basically screwed it up more. They were supposed to winterize it (this time last year) and they didn't- we didn't know that until everything start leaking in the spring when we went to use it. Much frustration, time, parts & money later we HOPEFULLY have it working and my husband winterized it himself this time. They were also supposed to fix a lift cable and they installed it backwards. We didn't find this out until on a camping trip and it broke again- had to pack up and go home as we couldn't lift it up to use it. Luckily we were only about 2 hours from home. We then took the pop up to another place (in Grand Junction) because we were so fed up with W.S.T. (they told us to bring it in & they'd look at it but that it was probably the entire system that needed to be replaced- how could we trust them anymore?! They probably would have taken more of our money to fix their mistake. So we just paid somebody else to fix their mistake and of course NO money back from them. In a nutshell, don't go there to get your camper/popup/etc fixed. read more

The latch on our horse trailer tack room door broke, we didn't have the correct parts but the guys went out of their way to come out and help us rig it together with zip ties! We were driving through town on our way for a weekend camping trip and called Western Slope to see if they could get us in to fix our toilet flushing module in our travel trailer. It was 4:30 on Friday and Sharon squeezed us in. Mike did a wonderful job fixing our issue and walked us through it while he did it just so we could learn as we new to the camping trailer world. We had the pleasure of meeting Trudy and Dustin last week. We were traveling in Colorado in our Rv. We had a blowout of one of our tires. It not only did some body damage but also knocked out the black and grey water drains. So we were unable to drain and we needed to travel home about a thousand miles, Spoke with Trudy a number of times while getting our tires replaced in another town. It was a Friday so it was crucial that we get the job done before they were closed for the weekend. She was so reassuring on the phone that they would do anything they could to help us. When we arrived and Dustin got involved their whole team pitched in, They had to modify a drain system for us. Also had to empty our tanks by hand. Trudy told us they were accustom to Friday emergencies. They were so professional and kind. These people are down to earth, completely capable. We recommend them so highly. I had an awful, borderline abusive interaction with the owner of this place after receiving bad service. I only know his first name as Nate. I am appalled at the level of immaturity and the lack of emotional control by the owner when responding to my concerns. His staff lied and he told me to shut my f**king mouth several times. They damaged my truck and refuse to be responsible. This is my email to them to address my concerns. I would like to point out that there were a few issues that came up throughout the day that contributed to my bad experience. 1.) The carpet adhesive was defective and the carpet was loose. -We compromised and I agreed to have you glue the carpet down and if issues came up down the road, I would address it then since I have a lifetime warranty. 2.) I clearly thought I had ordered the pet screens. I am sure Phil made that mistake, unintentional; none the less, didn't order what I thought I had ordered. He proceeded to blame me for this. -I compromised and said I would order and take care of myself. 3.). I was told installation would take an hour and a half maximum. I was there for nearly 3 and a half hours and was told by owner that "I had been causing them problems all day." 4.). I pointed out the scratches on my truck right after installation. Phil said I could use touch up paint to fix. Phil ignored me and then didn't acknowledge our conversation about the scratches when I called to address the issue. I asked to speak with owner. 5.) I explained my problem to the owner, who was clearly angry. He said, "No way, not possible". "My guys never leave scratches." He didn't talk with Phil or the installers to check it out. He interrupted me several times. He was yelling at me to shut my mouth. He told me that he did not care how much money I spent (which was a lot). I was told since I drove off after we made the deal... owner screams .. "a deal is deal...and you need to "f**king deal with that." He continued to insult me. He said that I was "an interesting guy" and "causing them problems all day." I had to hang up because of what sounded like hostile verbal assault. Clearly he had lost control of his emotions. This is unacceptable to me and I am going to address this regardless of outcome. I was your customer. If my assertiveness in dealing with bad service bothers you I apologize. My intent is not to cause you problems but to make sure that this purchase I made does not result in damage to my topper or my truck. I hope you could understand that I feel very mistreated. I admit the damage is minor, but it was something you did and you should be responsible for. I will allow a couple of days for you to respond to my issues. I thought it would be fair to have someone look at damages, prepare an estimate. Get work done and send you the invoice, since you were responsible. I anticipate this to be low cost and feel it is the right thing for you to do. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. If I do not hear back I will proceed with my next steps to have this issue addressed or... if anything else be known. I hope no one ever had to be treated like this again when relying a service being paid for. *Obviously they have not responded. Don't go to this place. This guy does not deserve to be a business owner. read more

April 2015 called Western Slope to make a appointment to get warranty work done on our trailer which they have done in the past.. They said to bring it in and they will get to it.. Called them 2 days later after the appointment which the girl was on the phone saying a few choice words on the phone because she was looking for the warranty papers we gave to her and said that they will get to it next week.. Got a phone call that following business day basically telling us that they are not going to do the warranty work on our trailer because we did not buy it from them.. What?? They replaced our air conditioning unit on it about a year ago, so what is the problem the warranty will pay for it.. When we went to pick up our trailer they left it buried in 16 inches of mud didn't put the stand on it or the piece of wood we provided to them.. The owner didn't seem to care... The bottom line is they knew our trailer had a warranty, don't say bring it in and a week later say you won't do it because you are only taking care of the trailers you sold.. Their motto is "you will be treated with respect and courtesy, just like we treat our closest personal friends". Is a lie.. We are trying to keep work local and will NEVER use or recommend WESTERN SLOPE TRAILER in RIFLE, CO.. Please don't be just another stepping stone to this business.don't use them... read more
