His staff is always pleasant and gets you an appointment that is pretty quick when needed. Wait time in the waiting room may take a while most of the time, this seems to happen with many doctors. I do know that Dr. Vinny sees some of his patients in the hospital in the mornings or afternoons, as I have been seen several times during hospitalizations, a comfort and a concerned doctor. Many times I have seen Dr. Vinny on the same day, if not the next as the latest, if needed. His assistant nurse (C) is very thorough and friendly. I was assured that results would be back by that Weds. and would be FAX'd to my surgeon no later than Friday as I had pre-op app't with my surgeon the following Monday. Surgeon never rec'd reports at close of day Friday even though the surgeon's nurse and I had both been calling Dr. Florescu's office since Thursday to have the results sent over. It's an hour before my app't with the surgeon and still no FAX with results from Dr. Florescu. Nurse and I calling frantically. No results FAX'd. I'm now at the surgeon's office and still waiting. I'm then told that my surgery may have to be postponed. I'm having the surgery done 2 hours away from home and it took a lot of planning to get time off work and to arrange help at home after the surgery. What is the problem? How hard is it to FAX?! Having surgery is stressful enough. It's crazy to be stressed out over something as simple as having your test results FAX'd to another doctor. I'm through with this. It's much too frustrating. This was coming due by August 1st so I called about a week prior to schedule my physical. I arrived for my appointment on July 31st - arriving about 10 minutes early knowing that I would need to fill out paperwork regarding my medical history. I was greeted by the professional office employee and she gave me the appropriate paperwork. I had barely gotten halfway through with my paperwork when I was called in to the back. I was weighed, blood pressure taken, vision tested (chart), and had to give a urine sample. I then returned to the examination room where I had time to finish my medical background paperwork. Patricia Philbrick, APRN, came in with her stethoscope and checked my lungs (deep breaths), peripheral vision, color test, reflexes, and hearing. She was very professional and thorough. She signed off on my Medical Examiner's Certificate Card including her State License number and National Registry number. I have to carry this card with me whenever I operate a Semi Truck. Once home I uploaded a photo copy of my new card and updated my status online with the Florida Division of Motor Vehicles (easy peasy). I found everyone here friendly, professional, and efficient. I had a very good experience and so I'm going with 5 stars.
