I have to say, I am very much impressed with Midland Vinyl Products (MVP)! So, much so I decided to…read morewrite this review immediately while everything is fresh in my mind.  So, approximately 4 weeks ago, I sought to have the mostly withered away wooden fence with gates on my property replaced with vinyl.  I sought quotes and presentations from 4 different vendors before coming across MVP.  I was fascinated by their design, color selection and pricing.  Gwynn was a delight to deal with.  She assisted me through the selection process (of which I was very indecisive), placed my order and kept me informed as I waited for its arrival.    Approximately, 3 weeks later, Gwynn contacted me to schedule an observation and installation of my new vinyl fence with gates.  The next day, Tony came out, surveyed the areas of where the fence with gates were to be installed.  He walked me through my options of gate placement, the direction in which they opened and the underground sprinkler lines to be cognizant of in areas where fence posts and gate posts were to be installed.  Tony even informed me of the gap that would be visible between the retaining wall and a post that was to be installed beside it, due to the shape of the structure not lining up with the post.  He offered the perfect filler solution (more on that later).  I must admit, I was a bit skeptical at first.  When Tony and I talked measurements, the numbers didn't add up.  I contacted Gwynn about the matter.  She told me not to worry and assured me that "Tony is excellent at what he does." So, I rolled with it.    The next day, Tony and his crew returned and got to work.  Sure enough, he is indeed excellent at what he does.  I would argue he's the best at what he does!  After Tony and his crew completed the installation, he walked me through the beauty of my new vinyl fence and the operation of its gates, before handing me the keys to the gate locks.  I love it!  Tony was on point.  Believe me, I checked his work thoroughly.  I made sure no underground sprinkler lines were broken, check!  I made sure the gap that Tony previously informed me would be between the retaining wall and fence post was properly filled in, check!  He cut out a section of a vinyl fence slat and filled in the space between the retaining wall and fence post.  How'd it look, you ask; OUTSTANDING!  There was only one flaw I could find.  One of the gate posts installed was bolted to the exterior wall of my house.  The bolts are located on the upper and lower interior wall of the post.  There are openings on the upper and lower exterior wall of the post in which to access the inside bolts.  A cover, identical in color and design to the post, was attached to each opening with a "white" in color adhesive.  It stands out.  If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to use an adhesive similar in color to the post,  but small potatoes.  Overall, I was very much impressed and would highly recommend MVP for your vinyl fencing pleasure.  Thank you!

Highly responsive and has a sense of urgency which I find refreshing. Glad I found them.read more

Only hire this guy is you want your projects half done and then not even done right…read more We hired Pete Brightwell and his crew ( Garreth, Clayton and Austin) to fix our front door and storm door, take out a sliding door in the dining room and put in a regular door with a stationary door, install a toilet, vanity and new shower, install a new kitchen counter and sink, 2 lights a cabinet and hood vent for our stove. (which by the way, he NEVER vented out) Well the storm door drags, the shower leaks, they didn't seal the butcher block counter or caulk around the sink, (the bathroom or the kitchen). He cut a hole in the dining room wall to see about the structure of the wall. After they put the new door in, (not correctly I may add) they did nothing about the hole. They threw away the light fixture we bought for the bathroom and WE had to buy a new one. They threw away the keys to the new back door so WE had to purchase a new door handel and dead bolt. The front door we had to purchase 3 doors! 3, before it got done right. The first 2 were steel doors and they dented them up really bad while painting. That's a whole nother story. They painted it 3 times and each time it got worse!! Debris sticking to it, scratches all over it and clumps of paint everywhere on it. We had new carpet put in 2 days before they started. They didn't lay down any protection for it and it got so stained up and they got glue all over it, We had to purchase new carpet again. Every week they came he asked for more money. $2,000 here $2,500 there. Over $20,000 later we told him we've run out of funds and he promptly had every thing picked up and the crew left. Leaving us with half finished jobs! Every job they started, they only half done then started on another job, got it half done then started on another. We had 5-6 jobs only half done. My husband and I have been going around finishing all of them. We caulked the kitchen sink, sealed the counter, caulked around the bathroom sink, repaired the wall where he cut the hole in it, put trim molding back on where they just left it laying. And oh so much more!! I almost forgot, we had to leave the house for 3 weeks while they worked on our bathroom. We gave "them" the code to our front door. On camera we heard and watched them give it out to other people that came by. They also let these other people and their kids just go into any room of our home they wanted. Rooms that WEREN'T being worked on, our bedroom, our spare room where we had our cats (with plenty of food and water and their auto litter box) their kids went through our stuff and messed around in our bedroom. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY PETE BRIGHTWELL!!! BTW my husband and I purchased all items that they installed. All they were doing was taking out the old and installing the new. That's it. If they would have finished 1 job before moving on to the next it wouldn't have taken so long to do and wouldn't have been so much money. Oh wait, was that the reason they worked like they did, to get more money out of us?! JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!
