They have a huge property with several different variations: Nobles, Grands, Douglas & Fraser Firs. You can walk the lot and find the perfect one. They provide sharp wood saws if needed, but if you have a reciprocating saw, take it so it will save you some time. Once you cut down your perfect tree, you throw it on top or in your car and drive it up to the front where they have a tree shaker to get all the loose needles and critters off. They offer free candy canes & hot chocolate for you and the kids. We chose a Noble Fir & it was fairly priced at $70. It's been gone for weeks and I've just accepted they have become a part of my house because they're still everywhere. I'm not sure if they had cut it a while ago and it was just so dead by the time it got to us or WHAT happened here, but it was really awful. $75 to get cut up arms and sweeping under it every single day??? And it is amazing quality. It is upick\ucut with materials provided, but the nice people working (I only caught one guys name that was Dan, but they were all very helpful) offered to help if needed! Prices were good, and the trees were nicely shaped. I didn't see many 8 ft+ trees, but there was a great selection for up to 7 ft. The grounds were a little muddy, and the trees were on a hill, but the trees were all planted in neat rows that made it easy to walk around and eye the trees from every angle. Once we picked our tree, we flagged down someone with a chainsaw, and they cut it down for us. The farm has a shaker and baler as well, and once our tree was prepped, it was loaded into our truck for us. It looked like the place was cash only, but there was a sign stating that they took checks as well.

Thankfully we had some help locating the size and shape we were interested in and our girls got to see all the sizes of trees before we used the provided saw to cut ours. Unfortunately our tree was large enough and far away which made it difficult with the freezing winds, to actually push the tree all the way back up to the barn, alone. The friendly crew saw we were struggling and literally ran down the hill to our side and helped push the cart for us. It allowed our kids to get out of the cray strong winds we had the night of our visit. Once selected they shook, trimmed, and drilled our tree for us! This was much nicer service, nicer tree, and supporting our local washougal businesses and families which all are a win. The tree still looks beautiful and our family enjoyed the barn photo ops once warmed up and out of the cold. We will be back next year!
