Terrible experience. Being seriously injured on the job is a terrible experience. The medical care and interactions with the employers insurance system is a terrible experience. So I reached out for guidance in navigating the medical process in order to ensure optimum care. However, there was none. This office ignored me. I never once spoke with an attorney. The gal in charge of my case, Jessica is a hearing specialist. I guess a hearing specialist is the person who is in charge of neglecting your concerns. Just Don't!!! First red flag.. no communication by phone only email. Second red flag, if you have an issue with anything there is no chain of command for complaints etc. I was told by the receptionist Nadia "I'm sorry that's not what you want to hear but that's how it is" The paralegal Jessica whom is the only communication I did have goes 2-3 weeks in between emails to answer you. I sent her an email saying I've been waiting for over 2 weeks for a response and I haven't gotten one I'm wanting to drop council. She responded same day and her excuse was that all my emails are going to spam folder, but she happens to see that one and responded in one hour. I was specific why I hired them for 2 reasons.. my pay was not correct with workman's comp they didn't have my correct pay rate and because I couldn't get any communication with workman's comp workers. I hired them in November and dropped them in March. My pay was never worked on and since I dropped Riley in 2 weeks I personally got my pay corrected. Jessica told me she had been fighting with them about my pay, my work and comp worker and their attorney said she only got an email in February regarding my pay with the info I personally sent to Jessica (which she requested in February) all the while she hadn't done anything on my pay but telling me she was "fighting with them" When I got legal documents from workman's comp for deposition I emailed Jessica and asked her what I was supposed to do I waited 3 weeks no answer and I emailed her once a week, 3rd week I sent her an email stating if I couldn't be guaranteed reasonable communication of 1 week for an email response I would be dropping the firm. 1 week for a few minutes of time is more than reasonable! She didn't respond to said email, so I called and asked to speak to someone regarding a complaint, which is when I was told there is no complaint process available! So I told them I was dropping the firm by phone and emailed Jessica. At this point Jessica emailed be back and forth regarding what she would be charging me for all of which she hadn't accomplished but 1 of those tasks the QME. Although over a period of 2 days to respond to each email back and forth but only when she was fired and not when she was hired! I told her this is the best communication I've had with you the whole time! This firm is a joke .. all the reviews regarding communication on both Riley law searches on Google (both the same firm) are true! There is none! Don't waste your time. I will be speaking to a judge regarding what they think they will be charging me. I also asked for an itemized list of what would be charged, over 2 weeks later still no such list. I have accomplished more in the 2 weeks since I've fired this firm then the almost 6 months they were on my case. Just don't waste your time and read the other reviews also on the other Riley law page on Google. I'm not surprised if they made another page because of poor reviews. All in all I should have known better and took what people said as fact. Don't waste your time. read more

I highly recommend Steve Riley's law office. He and his staff have taken care of all my legal issues with my workers comp case. All his staff are extremely friendly and professional. Nobody wants to have to file a Workman's Comp claim. However upon my needing to do so I found Riley and Associates to be KInd, Understanding, and Helpful during a confusing and difficult situation.
