Beautifal beach resort on the island of Puerto Rico..
    Elvin M.

My wife and I did out renewal vows here 9 years ago! Went back for a business trip. The location is beautiful it has everything a resort has to offer. They never disappoint. Beautiful views and great environment. Definitely would recommend if you want to stay in Rincon Puerto Rico!!

we booked our honeymoon/62nd birthday @this resort which is more like a roadside motel! rooms were dirty bathrooms were disgustingly dirty &over all out dated !the level of deception from on line pictures from probably when the resort first opened do not show the actual condition of this place which we stayed there 5/27/26 -5/29/26 we had booked a 9 night stay but had to check out to a actual resort for many reasons ,1- bathrooms were disgustingly dirty, filled with soap scum & dirty walls our first room smelled like mold/mildew the 2nd room not much better bathroom still dirty balcony, which we paid extra for had outdated worn out furniture and dirty table, the bar in the lobby never opened in the two day stay we were there ! we were told by some very nice staff that they dont open it due not enough people staying & the resort/motel and the same went for the pool bar! on our 2nd day there trying to make the best of it the swim up pool bar never opened! im sorry but we paid for all the advertised amenities . there was. very little staff on hand to maintain the resort on the second morning we went down to the pool and there was garbage on the floor from the day before from day pass people that was never cleaned up. finally our travel agent contacted. expedia explained the situations we forward them all our pictures as evidence. the hotel responded to expedia that they tried to accommodate us in a timely fashion and for our inconvenience, they would refund our total stay if we left that day. so we made a decision to pack up and book in a different resort after checking out we received another email that the resort charge us for three night which we were only there for two nights and had to check out on the 3rd day! the binding email that was first sent they have on! as of today 6/10/26 i would tribal agent has contacted expedia several times since with no response! from expedia! as far as i am concerned this is fraud on resort /motel part false advertisements and probably cooked up reviews because there's no way possible that they could have great reviews in the last 2 to 3 years as we talked to other guests there if they weren't there for two or three days, they would've packed up and left as well. we also saw reviews online stating that someone went there three years ago for a wedding and it was good. they came back three years later to only stay one night and had to leave because it was so terrible.! everyone i sugest you do your own research before booking here ! if i could figure out how to download the recent pictures we took& emails from expedia during our stay i will !pictures don't lie words, lie, but pictures do not lie!

This place was beautiful and had some exceptional views. Food tasted good as well However, their service was questionable. The bed had to be changed multiple times due to insects. It's possible cause we're on an island. The phones never worked and they informed us this was in all the rooms but that wasn't true. Their staff members Jean Carlos and Wilson were very rude and weren't accommodating. I had to go down to the lobby for every single request like room service, towels, toiletries. Willamarie on last day was very helpful and did her best to make up for it. I'm not sure if it was a communication issue or they don't care due to location. They can definitely improve for the scenery l.

The interior courtyard at Rincon Beach Resort is lovely! Note the ocean in the distant background

A VIEW TO A CHILL This beach resort on the western edge of Puerto Rico has plenty of solid island vibes. With our vacation nearing the end, we booked a stay here for the night of 1/2/19. Check-in was simple, though I didn't appreciate the $50-60 resort fee they tacked onto our reservation (which pays for clean towels, maybe). Our room was spacious and clean, featuring two queen beds. Apart from the mini fridge and a coffee maker, there weren't really many perks. We enjoyed a nice dinner at their on-site restaurant -- Brasas -- but sadly there was no complimentary breakfast. The interior courtyard was suitably tropical and included one of those life-size chess boards. Some kids were messing around with it, though I could see a couple adults really getting into the game after a few drinks from the bar. That brings us to their pool. Oh my WORD Rincon Beach Resort has got it going on. At several hundred feet long (with a mini island in the middle), it was directly adjacent to the beachfront, which bordered on the ocean. On a nice sunny day, there's nothing better. I loved the rush of being able to come up for air after doing a lap underwater, and seeing the Caribbean in front of me. They've even got a swim-up bar! Too bad we didn't have enough time to take advantage of that. I'd definitely have a Sex on the Beach......and maybe a cocktail too, while I'm at it ;) * TL;DR * Beds were comfy and staff were nice enough, although our time at the hotel was pretty limited. We probably only spent 15 hours here (and slept for 9 of them) so I didn't get a full day's worth of activities. One night's stay was $190. Yikes! Nichole C informed me that I should be "objective" and "not mean" in my review since the sky-high prices "aren't their fault". If breakfast were included, I'd think differently but just like Coral Princess in Condado, it's a lofty price to pay for paradise. Rincon Beach Resort is a nice property with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. It's not cheap, but good things in life rarely are.

Table looks as if it's falling apart.

I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend for a family event. I requested an ocean view room and paid $300/night. The disappointment when entering the room! The rooms are so poorly maintained! Holes in the bathroom door and toilet seat, water damage in the stucco in the ceiling. The worse is the shower floor, it seems it has never been cleaned! My sister's room was in even worse condition. We stayed there for a family celebration at the same hotel. The events room is very outdated. The carpet is old and lumpy in some areas. For the price I was expecting something better maintained.

This is a great resort. We were only there for 1 night but boy was it a huge step up from the other place we stayed at in the area. It wasn't perfect but I would definitely recommend staying there.

This was the coffee creamer that looked like a bar of soap.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience in this hotel. Nothing close to that the hotels page shows. First of all upon arriving we had two friends visit us and they were charged $91 each just come in the hotel; ridiculous. Then there was a puddle of water in our room, the coffee creamer was old and looked like a bar of soap. Finally when doing our check in I shared my bad experience w them and they said the best they could do to alíviate my experience was to allow me to stay in the quad area of the hotel while my Uber arrives. Otherwise I would have to wait outside. Unheard of. First & last time I visit this hotel.

Avoid this place! We just got back to our room after dinner and our room is full of BUGS! Black winged ants or termites. I went to the front desk and the guy said, oh yeah, all the rooms get bugs when it rains. I spoke to several other guests, none had bugs. He handed me a can of spray. After killing literally hundreds of bugs I demanded a new room. The new room didn't have bugs but wasn't completely cleaned from the last guest. I am so freakin done with this place and their I don't give a crap attitude! Little to no hot water in the shower. Not even warm. The gated entrance is not manned. The gates are old and rusted. It really looks a little like you are entering the grounds set for a horror movie. The beach and lobby is nice. We found a lot of sea glass. The pool is old, but very large. The rooms are dated. Dirty popcorn ceilings, not central air, everything looks old and worn. I know it's on the ocean, but the rooms are very humid. The hallways aren't well lit. The bedding looks old. The worst so far has been the person at check in. He was talking to another employee for about five minutes while I was standing there waiting. No big deal, except they weren't talking business, just goofing around. I asked him about going to the nearby caves, and he acted as though he really didn't want to help. No help with suitcases. It's more like an old Holiday Inn with big pool on a beautiful ocean. Oh, and the WiFi barely works. I lose connection every couple minutes. Plan on typical overpriced meals at the resort. The menu is fine, but if rather not spend $30 an entre for disappointing flavor. Instead go to Mahi Mahi or one of the other local restaurants for better food at a much better price. We are here in June.

We reserved a table at the balcony right at sunset at 6pm. We arrived and promptly got thru the security and were taken to our table and it was the most gorgeous view ever. We ordered the signature drink, The Pirata, and it was delish, very strong , and came in a coconut. We then wanted to order dinner. But no server or employee of any kind came to our table for over an hour after we got our drinks. We waited and waited and when we decided to give up and go elsewhere then finally a server came. So we decided to order since it was about 7:15 and we figured it would take too long to go somewhere else and order. My bf ordered the lobster mofongo in some kind of soup and I got red snapper in a plantain crust. Then again we waited and waited. I was so hungry I started trying to pick the coconut pieces out of my Pirata drink. Finally at 8:11 our food was served, And we were starved. I was prepared to hate the food haha but it was actually so delicious. So I guess come here if you are not starved and have tons of time. And you will get a delicious meal w the most beautiful sunset view.

I've stayed at many $10- $4/night hotels, and I'd trade any one of them for this one. (Except the one with bed bugs.) For the price, I thought it would be amazing. But it was only amazingly bad. Last month, I stayed at a Westin for the same exact amount, and had the polar opposite experience. Hands down, this was the worst value for money I've ever experienced.

I've stayed in only one of the four cabanas... The totally secluded, romantic and beautiful LoveShack which overlooks the ocean from its panoramic 180 degree lazing porch. Hammocks table and chairs. It's eclectic and clean and close to all of the beaches and shops in the main downtown (if you can even call it that) area. Rincon's whether can be unpredictable which is why it is such a hot surfing destination. That being said if you can't be out on the beach or are not an avid surfer you really need a good place to hang out if this is your beach vaca. I could be at the LoveShack for weeks and read in a hammock overlooking crashing waves and enjoying the salt air breeze. On to the Sushi bar. It is NOT easy to find healthy food to eat in rural Puerto Rico. Sorry. It's like rural America. Fried, buttered, breaded and usually the only greens you will see are the garnish IF you are in a good restaurant. The Sushi bar is Sushi and you just can't go that wrong there in my opinion. They have a TON of choices and lots of them vegetarian. The Mango sushi roll is hard to get because it's seasonal, but it's the house favorite and easily their best dish. Lobster rolls are great, all of the sashimi is great... I think they get most of their fish fresh daily from the local fishermen. The Bar is totally hopping with laid back surfers and wanabees (like me) creating a fun atmosphere at night surrounding a neon lit pool and giant projections of surfers on a screen. It's kind of a tiki vibe on mushrooms which makes total sense in the context of where you are. Pools beach *resort* is an AWESOME home base for anyone looking to have a good time in Rincon. Especially if it is your first time. It's a great jumping off point and all of the staff will tell you where to surf, where to swim, what good places to eat are and where the best swells are that day and will hook you up with lessons or call the horseback riding place for you or whatever... All with that expat, dropout, laid back happy attitude you get when you decide to just kind of check out of the rat race and live your life. I've been here three times from NYC now and will ALWAYS go back.

I loved sitting there with my coffee and reading my book. Our suite was the "Banana", which had a fairly large Jacuzzi. I didn't think I would be interested in soaking in warm water (hello, Caribbean!), but after a morning of diving and some time spent in the cold pouring rain, it sounded perfect, and it was extremely relaxing. It was a great preparation for my afternoon nap. We booked the LemonTree over the internet - the website was very web 2.0, showing real time booking status of each room. The online booking was itself painless. When we arrived in the afternoon of our first day in Rincon, we found an envelope with our name on the office door, greeting us and giving us directions to our room. We may not have ever seen our hosts at all if Martin hadn't gone to the public area to use the grill one night. The couple who run the place were both quite friendly. Speaking of dinner, we cooked all our meals in our room. The kitchenette was pretty tiny, and one of our burners didn't work at first (Martin reconnected it pretty quickly). But we managed to make some decent meals. Rincon has at least one decent-sized supermercado about fifteen minutes from the LemonTree, where we stocked up on groceries. There are multiple beach toys provided, including noodles, boogie boards, and floats for the kids. There really isn't much beach, though - it appears to have probably washed partially away over time. So there isn't a lot of room to lounge on the sand, but the water is easily accessed. I would love to come back to the LemonTree. Next time we'll probably trade the Jacuzzi for the suite with the larger kitchen. But either way I know I will be happy.
