The one time my bf came in to surprise me with a valentine gift the manager took advantage of him and did not disclose what type of necklace he had talked him into buying. Well 8 months later when I was in getting my thousands of dollar jewelry from there cleaned I asked curiously for a receipt on that necklace to see how much he paid and what it was. To find out he paid 1300 for moissanite which is fake af diamond. How the heck can fake cost that much. I don't know. But I am pissed that the last gift from there I'll ever get would be picked out by a deceiving man that knows damn well I would not approve. The inside of the store is small and has copper pennies incorporated into objects/jewelry, crystals, and other small gifts. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with a friendly employee named Missy. She told us about why the store was named The Copper Coin, and a little bit about the owner. Her life story was inspiring and hopeful! I bought two angel Christmas ornaments, Susan's biography, and a small crystal.
