I wish I could give 0 starts. I will never bring my clothes to this place again and I haven't even got them back yet. When I went to drop off the clothes, I got there at 7:35am and they weren't open. Their sign says 7am to 7pm. They showed up at 7:45am. Fortunately, I still had time to make my bus to the city. Today I went to pick up the clothes. I got there at 7:40am. The door was open but nobody was there to take my money and give me my clothes. I waited until 7:50am and then left since I had to catch a bus. So I called when I got to work. Someone picked up after a dozen rings but doesn't speak English so we couldn't communicate. She wouldn't give me the owner's phone number. As unprofessional as you can get. The owner does not stand behind their work and flat out lied and accused me, the customer, of ordering them to cut the bottom of my new suit pants too short. She claimed I gave her the measurement and cut and hemmed them as per my orders. What happened was I tried on the pants, they pinned them and I was told to come back in one week. Now I have a designer suit I cannot wear, Ringwood Cleaners refuses not only to replace the suit, but also to refund the alteration fee of $31. They run a Classless Operation. read more

I find it unfortunate that I have to give Ringwood Dry Cleaners only two stars. They do a great job with cleaning and alterations. If the woman and younger man were the only ones that worked the front desk, they'd get five stars for their service. However there is an older gentleman that works there that is rude, nasty and always gives me a problem. The first time I had a problem was when he refused to give me the three hour service guarantee for a few shirts for my husband. The second problem was when I needed a dress hemmed and he made me guesstimate how much of a hem I wanted, even though I asked him when someone would be there for me to try on the dress and get an actual measurements (the dress is still a bit to long and I'll need it hemmed again) The THIRD problem was during a pickup - I was on my way home and my husband asked me to stop and pickup his shirts. I didn't have the ticket as my husband had it, so this man refused to give me the shirts, even though I gave him the phone number, name, description of the shirts and a picture of the ticket from my husband. Tonight, I hesitantly tried one last time, since they seem to treat my husband well and they do a good job, but this older man was there again. He wanted to charge me extra to remove a mark on a dress and then refused to take my debit card. He tried to tell me that he was cash only. I've paid with my debit card before and they have a big sign that says they take Visa and Mastercard right on the counter. He wasn't able to explain to me why he couldn't take my debit card, he just kept repeating 'no card, only cash.' I ended up leaving with my items and will not be back. I went to Lakeside Cleaners across the street. Much better experience from the moment I walked in the door. read more

If I could give a 0 star, I would. This place charges 3.95 to dry clean a men's dress shirt. That's double the price a normal place would charge (1.95 is the usual price). When i asked about the 1.95 which is advertised outside of the store, the owner told me that's only if you bring suit along with the dress shirts. Would never go back here and would not recommend with those prices! read more

Ive been taking my dry cleaning here for about two years due to the convenience in location. Dress shirts and suits are cleaned as expected. I've never had an issue with them delivering on time. Their prices are noticeably above average in my opinion. read more

Had a very unpleasant experience at Ringwood Cleaners recently. Dropped off 2 pairs of mens suit pants to be hemmed. Both were tried on and pinned by the owner. One pair came back fine. The second pair, the much more expensive suit (Hugo Boss-$900!) pant came back two inches too short! Returned to store for repair, and still received them too short. We needed this suit for my daughters wedding! The owner insisted twice that my husband told her verbally to shorten pant to 32 inches, and it was not her fault! Refused any sort of refund. Insisted it was our fault!. With so many other dry cleaners in town, I am so sorry we didn't go elsewhere​. Will Never return to such an unprofessional business. Don't Go There! read more

In all honesty I had never had a bad experience with the Ringwood Cleaners until my most recent visit a few months ago, and want to give everyone a word of warning before you go. I gave them a dress so they could cut off the bottom train and make it all one length. They said to give them two weeks and gave me the date to come back. When I came back two weeks later, my dress was nowhere to be found and I started panicking, because it was very expensive. Finally they found my dress, crumpled up into a ball on the counter covered in dust and not even tailored. The woman there chuckled and said she would do it and started steaming it to get all of the dust and chalk off and wouldn't give it back to me until I went behind the counter and took it from her hands. I actually wish there was a 0 star rating 1 star is far too kind. They lost a shirt of mine and the owner acted like he could care less that it happened. He would not explain what happens or how I can get reimbursed. He just kept saying "1 week" not sure what that means. This is not my first run in with his less than stellar customer service skills but in Ringwood there is not much competition so he probably knows he can get away with his rude behavior. My goal is to find every site I can to warn people of the inept service provided by this fool! read more
