After having several emails back and forth regarding what I'd like done I went to the shop on a Tuesday. I had told him the previous Friday that I'd be coming in to drop off the items for embroidery on Tuesday. When I get there he tells me he can't have the items ready before Christmas despite telling me there was a 2 week turnaround time (it was before 2 weeks). His response to me was "well I have had other people come in since we talked". Really you got that many orders the Monday after I talked to you on Friday?! (Shop is closed on the weekends). It was a 40 minute drive to get there and he was not the least bit accommodating. I truly hate to slam businesses but this was extremely poor form. Don't lie to your customers. Additionally, he charged $75 for digitizing logos which is high compared to other establishments.

I had him shorten and hem a skirt and a pair of jeans, repair a hem, and the tougher one - shorten sleeves of a fancy jacket. He did the measurements quickly and took a week or so for the alterations (not long too to wait since I had the stuff sitting in my closet for about 2 years...) I'm sure he could turn around things quickly if someone needed something altered for an event or something. Do visit him and help keep a little bit of downtown Middletown alive! (You can visit Something Sweet right across the street - they have awesome stuff!)
