He discusses your individual case and is very thorough. His whole staff are very pleasant and they make you feel very comfortable. My root canal went better then some fillings that I have filled in the past. I really didn't feel the freezing, he used a local cream first and was so gentle withe the freezing. He has gentile steady hands and was so thoughtful through the whole procedure. He better insure his hands because they are more valuable than gold. I booked an appointment and from the moment I walked in to the moment I left; I was thoroughly impressed. Walking into the dental clinic, I was amazed at how clean and modern it looked. I noticed there were tissue boxes and hand sanitizer available all over the reception area. There was a coffee machine if I wanted one and free wifi. Plus, the washroom was spotless! I came in for my initial patient meeting, x-rays and then a teeth cleaning. The hygienist named Nana was so nice to me. She took her time explaining every single procedure. She actually checked on me while doing the teeth cleaning to ask if it hurt or if I was comfortable. Moreover, she took her time and made sure to do a thorough cleaning. My old dentist office would rush through it like it was some kind of race. At the end, Dr. Maria came in and looked over my x-rays and explained to me what my next steps were. She made me feel like I was more than just a patient. She was looking out for my best interests and I could feel it. After I scheduled my next appointment, all the staff thanked me by name as I left. I couldnt have asked for a better dental experience. From start to finish, I was seriously looked after. Due to a handful of factors (lapse in insurance, moving multiple times, a job that keeps me on the move) I had gone far too long without getting my teeth cleaned. I was googling potential places when my boyfriend suggested I try his dentist. Less than 3 minutes later I had a confirmed appointment that I was able to book using their online system. I was admittedly a little nervous when I went in having suffered at the hands of rancorous dentists in the past. My fears rapidly dissipated as Natalya worked on my teeth. I obviously needed a deep cleaning, but she was gentle and kind and made sure I wasn't in pain or uncomfortable. Dr. Morales then performed my oral examination. She informed me that I had a few cavities and some dicey pockets that would require seeing a periodontist; obviously not ideal, but she was kind and didn't make me feel ashamed. Rather, she worked with me in establishing a treatment plan and timeline that works with my insurance limitations and budget. (Gigi at the front desk was also extremely helpful in helping me understand the financial details and providing me the information needed to help plan out my treatment schedule.) I've been back a handful of times now and every time has been as pleasant and painless as before, and that really says something cause I've had a deep cleaning, a gum flap surgery, a root canal, and a filling. The entire staff is amazing. The girls at the front desk are always able to answer my questions regarding dates, prices, and procedures; Vanessa always makes me laugh even when I've got a bitewing x-ray holder in my mouth; and Dr. Sade made gum surgery shockingly painless. I came to their office in severe pain after struggling for days during the Christmas holidays. Many clinics were closed or fully booked, and I couldn't find anyone to help. My usual dental office referred me here, and I'm so grateful they did. From the moment I arrived, the entire team was professional, kind, and incredibly supportive. You can truly feel that the people here care about you as a patient -- not just another appointment on the schedule. Thank you to Dr. Mary for the attentive and effective treatment, Emma for the referral and guidance, and Liz and the reception team for helping with coordination and payment. Everyone worked together seamlessly, and I genuinely felt looked after. I had part of a root canal treatment done about two weeks ago, and even though the treatment isn't fully complete yet, I'm already feeling so much better. Before coming here, I could barely eat anything other than liquids and was waking up throughout the night because of the pain. Now I'm finally out of pain and can rest again. Nothing but high praise for the team here at the family business of Dabuleanu Dental…read more I was sent here for surgery after my boss and I went to Ajisen Ramen in 2019 for a bowl of their finest, but oily, rib soup special. The service is so darn quick at Ajisen, and we were so darn hungry, both of had that oh-oh moment when slurping the top of the ramen which was super-heated and caused problems with our teeth. He had a root-canal after and I had a cracked molar. After an emergency visit to United Smiles of Kensington near home and a quick patch up, they sent me on my way to Dabuleanu, all during the height of the pandemic when nobody wanted to take on patients. I needed an implant to replace the original molar with a ceramic one that gets screwed with an IKEA type wrench into the implant that gets installed into the jaw bone using bone marrow from cow and human to pull that off. It took months between visits, and everything was coordinated well with the front desk, phone reminders and included a hand-off between two different specialists, Val and his dad Tudor.

A root canal (or two) is an incredibly scary idea. Let's add in the words "these need to be done…read moreASAP" and it's the realm of nightmares. However, this clinic makes it as easy as you can make it! From your initial communication with them, they are a group of competent, compassionate individuals. Dr. Moncarz knows that you don't necessarily want to need his services but he makes it as relaxed as he can. He offers all levels of sedation up to and including general anesthesia. They also call you the next day to ensure your recovering well. They give you ample time to ask questions leading up to the procedure, right before sedation is started and post-procedure. Post-procedure instructions are clear and organized. I would use his services again in a heartbeat (not that I necessarily want to).

He has a nice bedside manner, very calming for anxious patients like me. He cracked a few jokes, and asked me a few questions to get to know me a bit before getting down to the drilling. He checked in with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was okay. He also talked me through what he was doing; even though I was out of it and groggy on gas, he still treated me with respect and consideration. I have no complaints about his skills as an endodontist. He really minimized my pain and could not have taken care of me any better. Then on my way out, we shook hands and he smiled as he showed us out. Really superb personal skills, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
