We selected this company based on good rating from Angie's List. We had received bids from other contractors based on word of mouth recommendations and either were unreasonably expensive or took forever to provide a written bid. Jivar, the owner, provided a bid that was very reasonable based on research of average costs we found on the internet for what we wanted to do. He estimated the job to be completed in 4-6 weeks. It was completely finished in 4. We had no days (except Sundays) where someone was not working on something. Every crew from demolition, to granite countertop installers, to plumbing and electrical were very professional. They cleaned up well at the end of each day. (We might have hoped for more dust control). The cabinet make, was particularly attentive to detail in executing our vision. I think it is important to be proactive in making sure to have things like granite, sinks, or lights, purchased and ready for install. We did not have much contact with Jivar during the process but this was not due to his being unavailable. It was because we had no issues that he needed to address and his crews were on top of things. We were pretty clear about our vision and were proactive in selecting materials. We don't know how our experience would be if we required more consultation or "hand holding". read more

From a scale 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, I would give Rise Construction a perfect 10! The kitchen was from the 1970's. It was old, dark and needed major work. Jivar and his crews did a GREAT job. I got approximately 5 or 6 bids and took about 3 months to make my decision. I called Rise out to my house twice before I decided I wanted to go with his company. I was very adamant about staying under $25,000.00. The total job came out just a shade under $26,000.00 but that was due to unforeseen electrical and plumbing problems. Jivar explained everything and told me about how the house had highly dangerous aluminum wiring. The corrections were made and I was pleased only spending about $800.00 over budget. The only hassle of the whole project was me and my wife getting everything out of my cabinets, drawers and the refrigerator. Other than that, like I said, the entire project went great. Demo took about a week and it was a total mess, but the crews cleaned up after everyday before they left. After the demo work was completed, everything came together quickly. We got all GE appliances that helped tie everything together. We plan on using Jivar and Rise Construction next year when we remodel both bathrooms. I hired Rise Construction to remodel our guest bathroom and build some new cabinetry. The workers he sent were trustworthy, talented, friendly, spoke English, and dependable. The bathroom turned out to be the best room in our house! They gutted it, then rebuilt walls, painted, installed plumbing, bathtub, toilet, new sink, drawers, and cabinets. The carpenter made all the cabinetry based on a picture I gave him and did an excellent job. It turned out so well that I had him rebuild every cabinet in the house to match. And then we redid the bar to use more granite and it turned out beautifully. He built more cabinets, drawers, and made a picture frame to hang on the bar wall. They also did odd jobs that I found while they were in the house such as painting the kitchen and replacing baseboards. I sent them to my mother's house to install leftover granite from our job and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend Jivar and his team for any remodeling job. Our 15 Story Condominium complex had 30,000 gallons of water run from the top floor to the bottom. Ruining every units floors and walls. JIvar and his team arrived prior to the plumber cutting the water line and completely mitigated and remodeled all the units in a matter of 2 months. Can someone call me about your horrible driver who is frequently on 99 & 2920 area? Nobody wants to answer the phone at this business. He was running red lights, tailgating, failing to use blinkers and flipping off other drivers. He almost ran me off the road!! Look at the google reviews!!
