What a gorgeous co-working space! This is one that's geared towards FinTech companies, which is right up my alley. I came here for a meeting and found myself wishing I worked at a start-up so I could be based out of here. First of all, it's enormous. There is so much space, including a mini-auditorium, sofas, and communal tables. Second of all, there's free coffee, water, apples, and bananas in the kitchen. Third, there's a cafe with food and snacks. Fourth, it's quiet, clean, and serene. And fifth, the bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries. They hold events, which they advertise through emails, and I'm definitely hitting one up. read more

Rise is risen. Rise is one of my favorite co-working spaces in Manhattan. It's new, spacious, clean, and bright. It has phone booths, a recording booth, meeting rooms, and a great café where they take coffee seriously. The crew that runs the place are friendly, courteous, and responsive. I've run a couple of events in the event space now. I've had 30-80 people attend. The screen is huge and everything just works - audio, presentation clicker, seating. I do move around different co-working locations using croissant but many are just... a bit janky. WiFi doesn't work, passwords don't work, construction is happening, etc. Rise is my go-to. read more

Great co-working space in Flatiron District! Very modern, pretty, and comfy with its oversized couches and plenty of seating. The only downside is that there is no quiet place to take meetings if you were to have one (using the Croissant app) and when I tried to go into the auditorium to take a quick meeting, I was kicked out by a group who wanted to have a meeting in there. There's a coffee bar that you have to pay for and also free coffee in jugs in the main room. read more

I was fortunate enough to host our event here at Rise. I was blown away by the amount of support and guidance Melyssa gave us from beginning to end. She made it so smooth for us. The space itself is unbelievable--very spacious, welcoming, and has an overall great vibe. Our attendees were all very impressed by how trendy and modern space looks. I have hosted events before but never with an actual TV in the theatre area. The offices are very clean. The symmetry of the space and decor makes for a pleasing view. The cafe area looks very accommodating almost makes you feel like your somewhere in Europe catching up with an old friend over tea/coffee. The light and airy feel of this co-working space truly feels like wonderful getaway like I'm not in NYC. However the cherry on top was the staff. Aside from Melyssa the staff that helped us during the event made us feel welcome. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. She also offered her support and was patient and kind in a situation that is often very stressful. I am very touched in so many ways how they made us feel at home. Thank you so much! I walked into Rise days before they officially opened a few years ago and I've had the pleasure of both attending and hosting events in their beautiful space (for Tech 2025). They've not only built an incredible and innovative community through their coworking space, but they also are big supporters of the entire NY tech space and have opened their doors to organizations and companies (big and small) to share and discuss emerging technology and the future. Their events team is TOP NOTCH (I say this as someone who does corporate events regularly). They are professional, super-friendly, and flexible. Definitely visit their space and see for yourself. Out of all of the co-working spaces which I have explored, Rise is hands down the best. Most notably, it starts with the crew that works there -- as they are always extremely friendly and helpful. If you're into open spaces like I am, this place is a must-visit, with both a long table if you prefer to work next to other energized entrepreneurs and many side tables if you prefer to work separately. With Techstars and many prominent Fintech experts / investors always here, you're also never short of opportunities to network with great minds. In terms of event-hosting, their facility is every event-planners dream. They have two rooms -- one theater which fits up to 100 people and another smaller conference room which can fit up to 25 people. For my hands-on workshops, the smaller conference room is the perfect location, and not only incorporates the best technology but also creates an atmosphere of collaboration and energy -- which my clients have loved every time we host it here. read more

Rise New York is an excellent venue to utilize for free event space in New York. The space is modern and comfortable, with an amazing staff that is catering to their guests and event groups. I highly recommend looking into Rise if you are looking for a space to host an event involving start-ups or FinTech. They do not charge a fee to use the space, however, they kindly ask to do a welcome speech and request to feature them in advertising and social media. To host an event here, keep in mind you must use their in house caterer, and it is pricey but given a free event space you can't a much better deal for a prime location. read more

StreetWise Partners used Rise NY for a large networking event. It was the perfect space for the creative and exciting ambiance we were trying to create--it really took our event to the next level! Everyone easily moved between the cafe and auditorium during the open networking parts of the evening. The sound system and music selection and the wait staff for the open bar and food were very accommodating. We had a power point presentation and there were no glitches, which was a huge relief. The Rise staff was also very accessible during the weeks leading up to the event and were able to thoroughly answer all the questions we had. We hosted a large hackathon in Rise and couldn't have picked a better venue! The beautiful space was definitely a highlight for all the participants. In fact, most of the feedback we got after the event mentioned how wonderful Rise was! On the organizing side, Rise was also a great choice. The professional staff were such a big help, and we loved having the in-house catering (courtesy of Madeline!). I've been working out of the Rise space for over 2 years. Here's what sets this space apart from the others: 1) The people: the staff are such lovely people. They are knowledgeable with how to use the AV system, they go the extra mile when you have last minute event needs, they greet you every morning with a smile and say goodnight when you leave. Stella, the GM, organizes poker nights and dim sum get togethers. She organized a HUGE Thanksgiving feast that was fit for Romans and served as [another] opportunity to get to know our co-working space folk. 2) Beverages: I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but the space offers free sparkling water, soda, coffee, tea. Their happy hour is everyday with beer AND wine. Other spaces do not offer such an array of beverages for free (the wine is a true differentiator). 3) The space: is truly a marvel. Design wise, it's modern, bright, warm. Makes for an energetic atmosphere. Side note - there's a bean bag room you can take a nap in. Great job, Rise folk! read more

We host our NewFinance events here and it is a great space. Everything is new, well maintained, sleek and clean. We had about 100 people, all focused in and around fintech, and the event went off without a hitch. The screen is actual TVs instead of a projector which gives a much sharper and crisper image.
