I booked a newborn/family session when my daughter was 4 weeks old. The photographer contacted me…read moreoffering her $1,200 package for $500 as a promotion for her new studio. It included 35 edited photos, and I made it very clear beforehand that capturing my 2-year-old son with his new sister was extremely important to me. I sent multiple examples and was assured she understood what I wanted. The session was incredibly uncomfortable. It was over 100 degrees outside and the studio was unbearably hot. My toddler was visibly sweating in the photos, and my husband had to take him to the car with the AC running to cool down. I had also spent $400 on hair and makeup specifically for these family photos. We were never warned to expect these conditions. I was very disappointed with the gallery. Many of the sibling poses I specifically requested weren't captured, and I was initially told to choose 20 photos despite the agreed package including 35. After considerable back-and-forth, she refunded my $500, which I appreciate. I then offered to pay $15 per photo for the few images I wanted. She responded, "I'll be happy if you keep some." After I selected them, however, she changed her mind and refused to provide any photos. I ultimately asked for just two images, including a one-month milestone photo of my daughter. She is now two months old, and that moment cannot be recreated. While I received my photography fee back, I can't get back the hours my family--including a newborn and toddler--spent in an extremely uncomfortable studio, the money spent preparing, or most importantly, this fleeting stage of my children's lives. I walked away from my daughter's newborn session with no photographs at all. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this photographer.

I kinda regret not being in more magnetic photos with more of my guests. at the end of the event he gives you CD/DVD(?) with all your photos that he took the day of. It's cool to go to my friends houses and see magnetik photos on their fridge. the quality of photo on the magnet was decent. couple of my guests complained that the photos were stretched sideways. I don't know what happened there. the digital pictures that I got were fine. The thing about photobooth is that not many "adults" use it... most of my guests would not have gone to photobooth if we had it. but Sibay walked around from tables to tables during reception and asked for pictures. when more people found out about it, they started to ask him for more pictures. it was great! I worked with him to design my magnet border and it came out perfectly. He was very prompt during the process and early to setup at the Wedding. I will definitely recommend his service to my friends. All i can say is, magnets are a great idea! I've visited some of my guest since the Wedding, and guest what? the magnet is up on everyone's fridge! People take photobooth pictures and throw it in a desk, in a draw, in a box, I know! I do the same thing. But with magnets, they go right on the fridge. Don't get me wrong, photobooths are always fun, dress up in props and take a few pictures, print it out and have a good laugh. We had both at our wedding but Magnetik Photo is different and original. I highly recommend it.
