Randomly placed highlights took away from the design. The tattoo did not fully cover the old tattoo, which was the point. The artist was unprofessional on the phone, and I refused to return after seeing the damage to my skin and being threatened for giving my honest review. He permanently scarred my skin. It was not scarred previously. There is no excuse for the level of damaged caused.

After filling out my electronic paperwork I got a chance to look through the various artist books of work, and I also noticed the shop was very clean. Sarah, my tattoo artist, was really nice and completed the process effortlessly. Making sure the placement of my tattoo was exactly where I wanted and that I was happy with the finished product. From my arrival at Legacy Tattoo to the end of my session, it took about 40 minutes, which was pretty quick. I definitely plan on keeping Legacy Tattoo in mind for my next piece of body art.

One is pretty simple - the DC flag. The other, a bit more complex - Celtic design inside a bicycle crank chainring. He was ready when I arrived and showed me the designs, offering to make any changes (none were necessary). He told me what to expect and how much time each should take to line and shade, went to work expertly and nailed it almost to the minute for each. He left me well prepared for post-care. Great experience.
