This is a completely different experience. Brand new spotless, modern office with attention to details--like iPods in the waiting room to use if you wait--I have never waited yet!!--and TV's in the exam room to make you comfortable if you wish. It is anything but the production line I have experienced in the other orthodontics offices I have been in. I chose her initially because she is newer to the area and a woman, and as a woman physician myself, I am always interested in giving young women professionals a chance. I am so very glad I did!! My treatment included a premolar extraction, and my facial structure and bite changed in ways I was never warned about. At no point before treatment did Dr. Rick discuss the potential negative effects of extractions, such as changes to facial profile or loss of support. There was no discussion of alternative treatment options. I was simply told extractions were necessary. I trusted that this plan was in my best interest, but I wish I had been given the chance to understand what it might do to my appearance. When I brought up my concerns during treatment, Dr. Rick completely dismissed me. He would not acknowledge what I was describing or offer any explanation or solution. Orthodontic treatment can change a person's face and confidence. Patients deserve full transparency and genuine listening, not dismissal. I hope this review encourages others to ask detailed questions about their treatment plan and to choose an orthodontist who values communication and patient trust.

I'm glad that we made the drive across the bridge because it was 100% worth it. My daughter's treatment was virtually painless. I remember going 2-3 days eating nothing but pudding, spaghetti and jello and at the most she had an hour or 2 of just being mildly uncomfortable. While I had chewed down Advil like they were Altoids - she never needed anything for her pain. Most importantly her new smile is AMAZING. Her teeth are perfect! And GONE are the days of the retainer that looks like a wire across the front teeth. New retainers are like Invisalign! I always ask her if she has it in because I can't even see it until I'm up close. Dr. Rosenberg is very interesting to talk to and very concerned with his patients experiences at his practice. His staff is friendly and caring. They were very good to my daughter for every one of her visits. Doctor Rosenberg made sure we fully understood the whole process and his office staff was great about schedule changes if we needed them.
