I called the Dental Associates of Wethersfield after that and asked to be seen for a second opinion. They were able to get me in for a same-week appointment, and turns out I have no cavities! I am so relieved and I have Dr. DeFilippo to thank for that. He is very knowledgeable and put my concerns to rest. The office is also super clean, the front desk staff is lovely, and there was no long wait time! Thank you to the DAOW team!

She said it may be up to $30 or so more due once the exact bill is in. Months go by and I receive a bill for over $400 more. This is completely unacceptable and they sent collection noticed to my house as well. The secretary obviously had the incorrect information through the insurance and this was never communicated to me and I was told with confidence I owed approximately $430 not almost $900. Very poor communication and I will not be paying more than what I was told was going to be due.

Kasabji and Engelhardt to provide a fix for his tooth and recommended next steps for treatment with his regular dentist when we get home. They provided care within an hour and were kind, explanatory and understanding of our concern that leaving it untreated could lead to infection or discomfort over a holiday with family. We are so grateful that they went out of their way on Christmas Eve to help him/us have a comfortable holiday. Thank you so much Drs. The work I needed done was not covered by my insurance but they made it easy by handling all of the financing and helped make it affordable for me. The dental assistants were also very caring and patient. Once even staying late to make sure my temporary bridge looked and fit right Dr. Kasabji did my bridge. I cannot say enough nice things about this doctor. He was patient, explained the "why" and "how" of everything he was doing and he did his job very well, as far as I can tell. The thing with Dr. kasabji he accepted my seemingly-unreasonable demands with a smile and even jokes. He never once made me feel judged, and I gave him plenty of reason, believe me! I can be a very hard patient to deal with. When my permanent bridge finally came in, I was so excited. I was going to be done, at last! But the color was wrong. I wanted to be done with all of this so badly, I told The doctor that it was okay, go ahead and put it in. He refused, ever so nicely and patiently. He explained that he understood I wanted to be done with this, but that I would eventually regret it and he couldn't sleep at night if he put it in. I grudgingly agreed. Two weeks later, the bridge came back and the color matches perfectly. He was right. It's now in and I am very happy with it. Thank you Dr. Kasabji and staff. You're ALL awesome

Dr. Liu always gives me clear explanation of my dental situation, and proposes different options. And the options he recommended always were proven the best by time. He's not that kinda dentist putting aside doctor ethics for money. He proposes cheaper options to you even if he can earn more by going with fancy ones. I never have a problem with dental work from his office, and I highly recommend him! I also need to mention the hygienist, she did my teeth cleanings in a gental very meticulous way. I recommend her too! My current dentist did very lousy work, that one of my teeth is dead and can't be saved, I really miss Dr Liu's services.

COVID-19 era review: after cancellation of my Spring dental appointment I finally made it to the…read moredentist. When you enter, the waiting room is more like the living room where you're not allowed to sit on the couch, that or a dental salon or maybe a yoga studio, complete with--I believe--live orchids in the corner. It's an airy, uncluttered space with coffee pods and HGTV, and is definitely a place to relax before your cleaning. For now the coffee table books and kids books have been removed. Marlena, Talia, and Stacy and Dr. Michalski are all professional yet human. Even if you have crowded teeth, flossing isn't bad here--they are super gentle. The dental chairs in each room face large windows, so you still feel relaxed through your cleaning--natural light beats fluorescent light any day. There are TVs you can watch through cleanings/exams if that's your thing. A neat solar array can be seen from these windows! Being COVID-19 era the the staff are in scrubs, masks, and shields, but still friendly. Marlena apologized for the air suction tubes presently over the chairs, but it wasn't so bad or loud. Everyone gets a tooth brush goody bag at the end of their visit, and they'll give you a trial size Sensodyne if that's your paste. Kids get to visit the prize box, the dental standard. In all, it's a pretty painless dental experience all around.
