This restaurant is adjacent to the medieval walls in the Piazza Fiere. We sat outside next to the walls for dinner. We ordered several different pasta dishes, beef carpaccio, and horse meat (really?). The wines were good. The waiter was very attentive, and the manager helped out when needed. This place has great food and great value. I recommend this place. read more

Some of the best food we had in all of Italy. Unbelievable handmade pasta. Very friendly service who helped us pick a perfect meal from the menu. They had one waiter who spoke really good english, and he was amazing. Very reasonable prices. Don't miss this place. read more

While I was on a business trip with two colleague, we ended up at this place. The food is great, with mostly excellent Italian dishes. Despite the somewhat stiff looking interior, the staff was also capable and very friendly. read more

Don't miss this place. Everything we ordered was outstanding. My entre was pollo with porcini and pesto. The sauce was complex delicate filled my mouth with ecstasy. Served with cici (chickpea) puree, smooth light clean tasting, great to mop up the exquisite sauce. Husband had Paperadelle with duck ragù that he thoroughly enjoyed. Quantity just right. Professional courteous service, English spoken and menu. Price is remarkably low especially for the quality. They've got it all. Close to duomo. read more

Also food wise, they cater local food that seems a mixture between Italian, Austrian and German cuisines, including Pretzels and dumplings. We shared an excellent mixed plate with meats (for them) and four types of cheeses (for me :-) ) for starters. As a main dish I had the local spinach gnocci, with came shaped as big dumplings. Not something you want to eat a whole pan off, but one plate of it was very tasty. Also, when you're here, don't forget to taste some of the great home-brewed beers. The staff is sometimes a bit hasty, probably due to it being a large place with many customers to serve, but when you ask for their attention you are usually served pretty fast.

Outside the view is fantastic (you are sitting almost directly above the lake), inside the dinning hall looks just like a caste should. I noticed they have one table for up to 4 people in a little room to the side. Nice romantic idea, but the wall around that single table are simply white, so I still think sitting in the main dining hall is more romantic.
