My brother and I partook in this gastronomical extravaganza while we were touring southern Italy. The atmosphere was warm, the clientele local, and the food excellent. Truly, this restaurant is one to write home to grandma about. We had the specials of the day, and ladies and gentlemen, the cook cookin' away in the kitchen sure knows how to get it right. The pasta was perfect, the meat was tender and the wine was excellent. I would like to add that most of the agricultural products served in the restaurant came from those who ran the restaurant and their families. When you go to this restaurant you have to have the gnocchi, it was fantastic and unforgettable. My brother still relishes that heady night in Agropoli when we spent two and a half hours at table, just chatting, eating, drinking, and experiencing the night away with the wonderful host and hostess. There were a grand total of three people working that evening: the cook (aka the host) his sous chef, and the hostess. Our glasses were never empty and the smiles never faded from our lips as we partook in this vrai Italian dining experience. I give all of my thumbs, for now, and forever, to this restaurant. I cannot speak highly enough, or give greater praise to this wonderful place. You must try to try it for yourself. read more
