On the board as you come in are the local paper accolades so you know that it is extremely popular locally. We were there on a weeknight and it was crowded although we didn't wait long for a table. They were wonderful and very helpful even though they didn't speak english very well. All the locals seemed to know each other and appear to frequent the place a lot. All were very friendly to us as well. All together a fabulous experience. The food and bread was wonderful and the prices were reasonable.

My vitello tonnato was excellent and the smell of my companion's tagliatelli with scampi mouthwatering. What a pity that the panna cotta didn't live up to the expectations: it was tough (too much gelatine) and bland in taste (no rasped lemon peel or something else that could have enlivened the taste). Still, overall a good choice

The owner announced the specials of the day, with you could have individually or as part of a four course deal. Half the group opted for the four course option and were exceptionally pleased with the size and quality of the food. The courses were well paced and there was no feeling of being hurried, even though the place was obviously busy with a quick turnover of the tables surrounding us. Each course was really nice and they each complimented the next dish that came out. The rest of the group were more than happy with the dishes they chose, but I definitely think the four course option was the winner of the night. The wine of the month that was recommended was well priced and more importantly tasted great. Also opting for the Karaffe is a great idea if you want more than a glass of wine, either for yourself or to share. Toilets were very clean and the restaurant obviously places a high level on cleanliness. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but the owner in particular really made an effort to make us feel welcome, so that is good to know when recommending the restaurant to others from England or English speakers. Also worth noting is the need to book a table, as the place is very busy and there is good parking nearby.

Wished we came here sooner as we really enjoyed our dinner here! It was a warm night and we were looking for an outdoor spot to have dinner. Though there were no seats left outside, we managed to sit at one near the big patio door so we got some of the breeze. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Given the heat, I ordered the Capricciosa salad which includes tuna, salami, ham and cheese--a winning combo on a salad I'd say. I really liked the dressing. In short a yummy salad for a decent price at 8.50€. My hubby ordered the Rosati pizza. Loved it! That garlic cream sauce was amazing on the pizza. Would definitely order again. We look forward to coming back to try their pasta and the very delicious sounding mains offered here.
