This is our locally owned pharmacy in town which I know is a rare find anymore. Sadly, I admit…read morethat I have fell victim to always using Rite Aid which is across the street even though I try to frequent the mom and pop stores. This pharmacy has been around for as long as I can remember. What brought me here was, believe it or not, Rite Aid didn't have the medicine I needed for my litle girl. This place is cool. When you walk in, you feel like you are transported back in time. It just gives off the old time 60's feel of what a pharmacy used to be before the big chains came into the picture. Now, I wasn't around in the 60's but I have seen movies...haha. Anyway, it is a small store but has all the remedies you would need from diaper rash medicine to ear drops to...well, you get it. The pharmacists themselves are in the rear of the store and simply behind a counter from you without being seperated by glass and partitions like at the chain stores. They staff are very friendly as well. As a matter of fact, the one lady working actually quit Rite Aid to work here. Love it! It is a great locally onwed store and now that I have been there for a prescription and am in there system, I may have to only go here from now on. Mom and Pop places.....you rock!

Went to the Niles CVS today for a bad cold that I needed some urgent relief from. I didn't have an…read moreappt time, unfortunately, but needed to see someone since I only had lunchtime to go and my cough was making me and my co-workers miserable. :). Kelly rearranged things and was very helpful and got me in to see Jessica, the nurse practitioner. Jessica was very patient and nice and not only listened but was relatable. She prescribed me much needed relief and also came out and helped me pick out the over the counter medicine I needed. Would highly recommend.

I went to the minute clinic to get my ears cleaned. The nurse practitioner did a great job cleaning…read moremy ears. She spent a whole hour with me. She kept flushing and re-flushing until she go it all out. My family doc did it last year but scraped my eardrum and made me bleed. The NP here didn't do that and did a much better job.

Just got discharged from the hospital from a c-section on 7/21 Sunday and went to go pick up my…read moreprescriptions from the pharmacy when we realized it was closed. When we pulled up to the window and saw the sign we got a call from someone inside who said even tho they were closed he knew I'd be needing my meds and had them ready for us at the photo department! I have had a few bad experiences here. Several times i had grabbed a sale item and It not ring up…read morecorrectly then you say something to the cashier and they just look at you like its their first day and dont know what to do. One girl corrected me by saying well that was the sale last week its this price this week even though the sign was still up. She didnt even try to have a manager correct the problem. It was piss poor customer service on their part. Also theirs a coupon book and even if the sign says its one price if you dont mention its in the book to the cashier they wont give you the deal. Its like why do i have to remind you of your own sale? That makes no sense to me whats so ever. Only reason i do go in there is because its close to my house. Otherwise rite-aid is not much further.
