Sadly this Hopewell Junction, NY location has very poor customer service. I was just in there recently to purchase a few items. The cashier seemed annoyed that I had a bunch of items she needed to ring up. She was increasingly annoyed that the ornaments I was purchasing tangled up a bit and then told ME to untangle and count them. When that was done, I was taking more items out of my basket to put on the counter and she told me to stop because I was confusing her. Just plain rude. Unfortunately I also found the pharmacy dept to be unfriendly and rude as well. I switched to a competitor last year and couldn't be happier. If you don't like your jobs, find a different industry and don't take it out on customers. read more

Very friendly service that seems to be much better than their local competitor. I often forget about this store because it is not as visible as their competitors location on the corner. I've been using rite aide pharmacy for years and never had any issues. Recently regardless of I come a few hours after my dr appt or a day after they always make you wait at least a half hour to fill it. A cream I needed wasn't ready (in a tube) That just gets pulled off the shelf. This was my go to pharmacy for over a decade, and I get the pandemic madness etc. but the pharmacy manager Devon Lewis is about as rude and disrespectful as can be. But at least he was honest, upon being told I'd speak to corporate he responded "I don't care", and judging by the lack of response I got from this store they obviously have no regard for their customers. So I had something growing on my lip. I did not want to leave the house. I did not want to wear a mask because it hurt. I called Rite Aid to see if they had Abreva. They did. They told me they would bring it out to the car, to call them when I pulled up. The Abreva worked well. So thank you Rite Aid I needed that TLC. read more

It's a pandemic so I figured I would do a walk in appointment the app and website were faulty so I called this store and was told I have to schedule it online how can I do that when both the app and website are faulty.why would you have a sign that says walk in appointments ? I walked in and was told that I could not receive the vaccination. Wtf is wrong with these peoples and the company. This pharmacy is horrible. I have used other rite aid pharmacies with no issues however I moved so I started using this one. They have asked me for my insurance card every time I go in (why isn't it saved), have tried to charge me copays on meds that have no copay(miraculously when they run the insurance again the copay disappears), and tried to tell me my insurance card was "invalid" because they had never seen that one before. I have also been told that they only had a days worth of a prescription and I would have to come back the next day to get the rest of it. The one positive is that the pharmacist is very nice but Do yourself a favor and go to the next plaza over to CVS. read more

Horrible service at this locations pharmacy. The pharmacist who is Indian, you can barely understand him. I have to ask him to repeat himself 2-3 times after each sentence. One month I called about my prescription, the pharmacist told me it wasn't ready and I had to wait 2 days to pick it up. He told me Thursday after 1pm I can come to get my script. Well I live 25 minutes away from this pharmacy, and on that following Thursday I went to get my script and then he told me that my doctor had never called in the script. I mean why didn't he tell me that when I called days before, instead he told me my script couldn't be filled. So I was on the phone all day with my doctor to have him fill my script. Anyways fast forwards till today, I called the pharmacy and asked them about my script, was told it would be filled today, and I can come by in 30 minutes. I drive 25 minutes to get pick up my script for the pharmacist to tell me that he couldn't fill it that day, I had to wait 1 more day. I told him I was just on the phone and someone told me it was available for pick up just 2 hours ago, he told me I must of misunderstood the phone call. Then a lady behind the counter was like, "oh that was me and it was a mistake sorry".
