Stopped in to grab pain relievers, thinking it would be faster than going to Walmart. Probably paid…read moredouble for the medicine and then waited several minutes to check out. I think it was a combination of a slow customer and slow employee, but my goodness! Really could use a self-checkout line.

A day in the life of someone who made the mistake of getting a script here:…read more Prescription was sent in at 3pm on a Wednesday (I have a killer inner ear infection in both ears and ruptured eardrums and am in unbearable pain) I went in right away at 3 and asked about it and they said "come back in an hour or so." Totally understandable. I signed up for text alerts and went home to wait. 5 hours later no text, I call them, and wait on hold for 20 minutes (which is also 100% understandable) A woman answers and asks for my name. I'm in so much pain I can barely mumble my name and she says "WHAT did you say" with so much stank in her voice I could smell it. So I spelled out my name and she said, and I quote, "Not done yet! [very audible sigh] it will be in an hour or so." This was at 8:30. They close at 10. I'm wondering why she finds my name/voice/self so repulsive, but Im still in a good mood and unaware of what's about to happen. So I asked (mumbled) "does that mean it will be done today?" and as soon as she heard me ask that she got mad, and started talking much louder, which hurt REALLY bad, and she went on this rant about how its busy and people won't stop calling and they can't work when people call and its so rude of me to ask if it will be ready today because of course it will. It will be done in an hour or so. Like they've been telling me since 3 why can't I listen? So I just said "Okay thank you" and then SHE hung up. The prescription was not ready before they closed. Turns out, it really does take more than 7 hours to fill a bottle of ear drops when you're entire staff is equality hires who can't stand up without running out of breath, and they use what little breath they do have whining and nagging everyone about everything. Turns out I got to go all night without the medicine that was prescribed at 3pm that day and I got to listen to a woman loudly complain into my ruptured eardrum about having to work at her job and boo hoo sometimes its hard and waaaah she hates listening to the problems her uselessness causes everyone else. Its just not faaaair The next day rolls around and they open at 8. Still no text. Finally, at 10am the next day, after making me wait NINETEEN HOURS for my prescription and lying to me THREE times about when it will be ready, I was finally able to pick it up. After waiting in line for an hour of course. Now, just like everyone at Walgreens, I don't know anything at all about running a pharmacy, but what I do know is that people who are sick usually want medicine, not the full girlfriend experience.

5+ Stars for service! On Friday afternoon, our doctor's office sent a prescription for antibiotics…read moreto the wrong pharmacy, the one at the hospital 45 miles away. (Munson system had that as "our" pharmacy because my wife had been hospitalized. Arg!) After I came back twice and called the doctor's office to find out why no prescription, the pharmacist called the doctor's office and waited on hold -- they were about to close for the weekend -- so she could take the prescription over the phone. Since the other pharmacy had already filled the prescription, she then had to call them and get them to reverse it. She went WAY above and beyond to see that my wife had had her medicine over the weekend. And our cost was $4.67. She spent all that time for no money. That is real customer service.

Please train your pharmacists better. The most frustrating part which I have yet to happen to me thankfully is 3 people that I know have gotten the wrong medication dose from you guys. Whoever is filling scripts needs to make sure they're filling the right dose. A 16 year old family friend received a 2.5mg dose of their BP medication instead of a 25mg dose like they're supposed to. They only noticed cause he started having headaches really bad and thought to double check his meds. Another friend of mine just infor.ed me that they were given 3x their normal strength of seroquil. Another friend of mine weren't able to get their scripts when they were supposed to because of a wrong input and also sent her with a wrong dose of medication for one of the people she takes care of. If they wouldn't have noticed, they would have given their resident a much higher dose than they should have. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING!! One of these times you guys are going to end up killing someone because of your ignorance. This is a malpractice suit waiting to happen. Do better. I'm definitely going to be looking at switching to hometown so my health isn't put in jeopardy too due to incompetence. I hope if anything happens to anyone due to all these errors, that they hold the pharmacy responsible. I understand human error and mistakes happen, but they should not be happening like this that often. Everyone who works there is more than kind but that dies make up for incompetence

I've shopped at Meijer many times, but after what I've experienced during the night shift (around 8…read morePM), I will NEVER come back. The night manager who has a limp and assistant manager who is short and has curly hair with cauliflower ear are beyond creepy. Instead of running the store, they stalk and stare at customers--especially women--making the whole shopping experience extremely uncomfortable. The moment you walk in, they start following you around the store, watching your every move like some kind of predator. I don't know if they think they're being subtle, but it's painfully obvious. It's unsettling and makes you want to leave as fast as possible. No customer should feel watched, judged, or stalked while trying to shop. On top of that, they treat their employees like absolute garbage right in front of customers. I've seen them yell at workers, degrade them, and act like they're above everyone. If this is how they behave when people are watching, I can only imagine how bad it is behind the scenes. Between the creepy, unprofessional behavior and the toxic management, I cannot recommend this store to anyone--especially at night. If you don't want to feel watched, stalked, or uncomfortable, do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Doctor called in a prescription, got a message it was ready went to pick it up. The guy said insurance didn't cover it, (had already confirmed it did) because it needed the doctor's approval. The prescribing doctor has to approve the filling of the medication she prescribed? No attempt was made by them to figure it out. Called the Dr's office in Traverse City and the receptionist sighed and said they constantly have these issues with this location. Their ineptitude is known across the state. Got a notification it was ready, went to pick it up, the girl took my information, went and grabbed a package, asked for my info again and said they had nothing for me. So what did she go get and almost give to me? Where was the mistake? I don't have a common name and she had my personal information. I again called the doctor's office and the angel of a receptionist made another attempt to straighten things out. Repeat the scenario a dozen times, with any ludicrous excuse one could make up and not a single employee making a phone call to fix the problem, or letting me know there was a delay, each time getting a notification it was ready, it was 4 months later when I was able to pick it up. Good thing it wasn't something essential like insulin but I sure did feel like garbage waiting all that time.
