I'm so angry with the pharmacy right now, we have to change to another one. My father has…read moreapproximately 8 prescriptions that I pick up for him every month. He's in a lot of pain with Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis on the Spine, and 3 herniated discs, so it is quite difficult for him to run errands or do much of anything. Today was the fourth time I've gone to Walgreens to pick up his pain meds and other prescriptions, and they were not ready yet again despite a phone call saying they were. Yesterday (4/7/25) he was told the prescription was ready. I went to the counter today (4/8/25) around 11:50am, and I was told that his prescription was NOT ready because the supply had run out and was supposed to to be re-stocked between 8:30am-9:00am that morning. They took my phone number to call or text me when it was ready. Now this has happened before, so I left and drove home and waited. After nearly 4 and 1/2 hours, there was no call and no text, so I drove back to Walgreens and asked for his prescription again. This time I was told they had the medication but I needed to wait at least 30 minutes for it to be filled. I waited in the pharmacy for 30 minutes, and I got a text that it was ready. I watched and saw them take it out of the bin. They had not put anything in that bin while I waited -- I watched! The prescription had been in that bin the entire time, nobody checked it. They went with what the computer screen told them, I guess. I'm so mad about them wasting my time. As I said, this is the 4th time this has happened! I purchased the prescription and went to my car. I looked at the prescription and there it was: Filled on 4/7/25 on Monday at 6:49pm! They had it the entire time. As always, I was lied to again by them. My review is based on my experience at the photo counter. When I walked up to the photo counter, the employee greeted me and I told her I was there to pick up a free 8x10 photo (if you're a Walgreens rewards member, every so often they give you an offer code for a free 8x10 photo with no purchase necessary) and also to drop off my FedEx return. She completely understood the 2-part mission and quickly retrieved my photo. Then, she asked me to input my phone number on this hand held scanner type thing, which I did, then she scanned my return and I was all done. I immediately received a text acknowledging my return and it gave me tracking options. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. Being this is considered one of the drop offs for FedEx returns, I found it really simple and easy.

Came yesterday to pick it up (because that's what you do when you're accustomed to Walgreens, CVS and RiteAid) and they said it wouldn't be done until today at 4:00. What? Are they harvesting some rare herb in the Himalayas? I showed up at 4:45 and they claim the delivery driver has been really busy and won't be here for another 30 minutes. Good thing I have nothing better to do with my time than sit in my car.

I am an Uber driver and I went to go pick up an order at 6:20 AM. The online hours even said they were open at 6 AM but when I got there, there was a paper sign on the door saying they weren't open till 7 AM. I tried to leave them a message to tell them how disappointed I was and their communication, and you can't even leave a message. This causes Uber drivers to cancel their orders and get penalized by an even more horrible establishment, Uber! Absolutely horrible and I will never go here again as a customer and I will deny every Uber order I get from there. I hope they go out of business. And I really mean that.

He said that they had a policy that they couldn't sell alcohol unless the other items in the order were more than $35. I was not given an option other than taking the nonalcoholic items or taking nothing. The app didn't show this as a policy. I have placed online orders at other Walmart stores for just alcohol and have not had any issues when picking them up. Why does this store have different policies than other Spokane stores? Why don't they inform the customer before they make the trip to pick up the order?

The morning of the baby shower -- two hours before pickup -- a man named Matthew left me a voicemail saying they only had the sandwich platter, fruit platter, and veggie platter. That's it. No apology. No suggestions. No solutions. Just a voicemail dropping a bomb on the day of my family's event. And when I picked up the sandwich platter? The bag of lettuce they handed me was brown and slimy -- visibly rotting through the packaging. They handed it to me anyway and said nothing. This is my LOCAL store. My family shops here regularly. I trusted these people with an important family milestone and they couldn't have cared less. No accountability. No urgency. No effort. Suddenly, we are told we cannot use a passport and they have never allowed it, stating it is (their policy). Last time I picked up a prescription I was informed that yes you were allowed to use a passport. When I asked about the policy, I was informed it was never their policy not to allow the use of a passport as an acceptable source of identification? hmmmm. Very interesting since it happened to be the very same employee, Maddie, who was the one stating we could not use the passport.... When I asked her specifically about that situation, she couldn't remember.... There have also been too many instances when I call and am informed a prescription is available, only to find out when I go in to pick it up that it is not ready? I am happy not to deal with their customer service failure anymore!
