Get ready to be lied to and taken for a ride by Randy in the sales department/whole store..... I placed and order for a piece of equipment on 7/8/2019 by Randy, he took my credit card info over the phone and told me that it would be at store for pick up by 7/11/2019 or 7/12/2019 and said would call me when in, well on 7/12/2019 I called Ritenour Equipment to speak with Randy to inquire about if my equipment came in, I got shuffled around on the phone for 10 minutes to finally be told that Randy is unavailable and nobody knows anything about my order except Randy, so I was told he will have to call me back, ohhh boy. Randy calls me back about 20 to 30 minutes later to tell me that my order went to another store 85 miles away from me, when it was supposed to be at there store that is only 32 miles away from me, Randy told me sorry, but then he told me either I can go and pick up my equipment there at 85 miles away from me, or I can wait over the weekend and he will personally go and pick it up from the other store and have it in there store Monday morning on 7/15/2019 for me to pick up, I figured ill let Randy go and pick up my equipment over the weekend and pick it up Monday morning on the 7/15/2019, it shouldn't be my responsibility to drive further/spend more gas for there screw up. well now its 7/15/2019 I called Ritenour Equipment to make arrangements to pick up my equipment, well guess what Randy is not available again to take my call, and I get shuffled around on the phone again and was told Randy will have to call me back, really, but this time Randy calls me back in about 10 minutes having a smug laugh to his voice and tells me that my equipment is still at the other store and he was too busy to go pick it up, I then told Randy to cancel my order and I want a full refund to my credit card, then Randy started to have an attitude with me over the phone saying (THAT EQUIPMENT WAS SPECIAL ORDERED FOR YOU) I just said I want a refund and I left it at that...... but wait Randy calls me saying he's having one of his guys going to go and pick it up from the other store now, really, that was supposed to have been done over the weekend, nope I just want my refund, then he calls me again to tell me he will have it shipped to my address, nope refund me, you know the moral to this is (fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me) and now im fighting Ritenour Equipment to get my money back, don't order anything let alone buy anything through this business update: as of 7/17/2019 Randy keeps calling me, basically harassing me now, he called on 7/16/2019 and today 7/17/2019 wanting my full address to ship the equipment to me when I already told him on 7/15/2019 in my previous statement do to there 2xs screw up, to cancel my order and wanted a full refund, he said alright and he will do up the paper work, i can see now that Ritenour Equipment/Randy wants me to pay not only for the equipment but also for there screw up read more

Bought a Mahindra from these folks this year. The purchase process was smooth and very straight forward. That alone would be enough for a good recommendation. But then badness happened. 2 minutes into the first use of my tractor the mower deck came loose. That was on a Sunday. By 8:30 am on Monday they had picked the unit up. Took some time to get it back due to parts ordering and a careful analysis to figure out what went wrong (we STILL don't know), but came back repaired at no cost to me - though I know this cost the dealership significant cash [you can't claim a warranty repair from a tractor manufacturer if nothing appears to be wrong]. After return and successful use of the tractor (yay!), they followed up on the phone. It's great when a company does the right thing and all just goes smoothly. Even better is when they do the right thing when not everything goes smoothly. Highly recommended. read more

Bought a Zero Turn mower on Friday. They had it scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday morning. Looked at the weather forecast on Monday afternoon and saw that it was going to rain on Tuesday. Called and asked if they could move up the delivery. They delivered at 4:30 and I was able to cut grass that evening before it rained. Very happy with customer service. Loved using the mower the first time. Driving took some getting used to. Will give update about mower after I've used it a few more times. read more
