Cherie and her husband, Reverend McIntyre were the most lovely, gracious, and kind people who made our last minute wedding so special to us. I was made to feel like a beautiful bride, and our union so sacred and momentous. The ceremony itself, was held with in a small chapel with in a motel, with bare minimum furnishings, nothing fancy. We filled the space with our loved ones and our joy, and listened with great intent to every word the Reverend spoke. It could not have been more perfect if we had planned for 12 months and spent thousands of dollars, unneeded. We got the basic wedding package, which included the licensing, space, and ceremony, and found this was sufficient for our needs. The team shuttled anyone that wanted a ride; I, as most, preferred walking the pathway of lights to the beautiful upper meadow and barn. Tables, place settings and decorations were setup per my daughter's request. It was perfect evening. We utilized the barn to dance the night away. Some tips: If you want a limousine or party bus both Folsom and El Dorado counties offer transportation rebates($500 and up) if you have enough people staying at a local hotel. Check out "Go Folsom". We utilized Pinklane_Events wedding coordinator; Hannah made sure everything ran smoothly and has lots of decorator items to make your vision come true. Behind the scenes (literally behind a very decorative curtain) is a back area with rooms for privacy to change and prepare for the big day. The pastor was great. A friend played the piano as a wedding march and then sang a beautiful song for the couple. Huge congrats to our friends AnnMarie and Michael. So glad we were able to be there for them at their nuptials - especially in such a wonderful setting.
