We truly cannot say enough positive things about this venue and its exceptional team. From our very…read morefirst interaction, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our wedding day everything we envisioned. They were always available to answer questions, provide helpful guidance, and ensure every detail came together flawlessly. One of the standout features for us was the incredible Borrow Barn. The variety of décor available was impressive and allowed us to add so many beautiful personal touches to our wedding without the added cost and stress of sourcing everything ourselves. It played a huge role in bringing our vision to life. The property itself is absolutely stunning. The breathtaking scenery created the perfect setting for our ceremony and provided countless beautiful photo opportunities. Every part of the venue felt picturesque and helped create an unforgettable experience for both us and our guests. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding staff and the thoughtful amenities this venue provides. Their care, professionalism, and attention to detail made our wedding day truly special. We would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, seamless, and stress-free wedding experience.

There was no reason for these people to keep 5k with as much notice as they had The ultimate bait and switch. Our experience began with pulling up to our appointment time to about 15 other people in 3 different groups standing outside in the rain. We approached and they informed us that we could go take a look around the property, (unguided, uninformed, and in the rain). When we returned to the front about ten minutes later everyone was gone and there was a person outside that informed us that we could take our shoes off and go inside the guest house with the ~15 other people that were there. We walked around by ourselves for about 20 minutes until we were finally approached by someone. At that point it was time to go to the "something borrowed barn". By the name you would assume what this is. No. It is a warehouse painted red to match the rest of the property. When they let you in the door you are actually entering about a 200sqft room with the 15 other people touring the property at the same appt time and are all expected to share ONE (1) mock decoration table in which you may choose decorations they have in two cabinets in the room for your wedding day. Upon further questions the linens on the table and displayed in the room you may choose all other decor from are only available for rental. I wish this was the worst of it. The icing on the cake (and what they failed to disclose prior to committing to them) is that they do not allow liquor without a super special ultra premium gold star bartender with a super exclusive lisence

Had we known about the hotel ahead of time, it would've been a better stay…read more The hotel is not a bad place, at all. It's full of history and class. It's clean and central to many locations in town. The chief complaints I have are these: 1. The walls of the hotel are paper-thin. You can hear *everything* going on outside your door and the rooms next to yours. 2. There are no TVs in any of the rooms. For #1, nothing to be done about it but go in forewarned. For #2, not knowing that was totally our fault. The TV situation is listed on their website. But TVs are such a standard item, who thinks to look for that note..? :P Now. The best part of our hotel stay was Ulina. She was the front desk rep when we got there. She was extremely friendly and very helpful in getting us settled in. She went above and beyond her duties to make sure our 2 night stay (that turned into a 1 night stay due to job issue) was stress free and comfortable. If you stay here in the future, ask for Unlina, you will not be disappointed. :)

The main dining room only has three or four tables, so I recommend calling ahead for a reservation. The shareable plates and desserts were delightful, but there were some issues with the mains: Brussel sprouts had an incredible glaze, a perfectly balanced dish. Salmon bowl was okay... kimchi and seaweed salad were excellent but the salmon tasted like the pre-marinated cuts from any chain grocery store. Large plate, I could only eat about half. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare! The portion, however, was very small. Chicken pot pie was frightful, I wish I would've taken a photo of it. Presentation was... deconstructed to say the least. It looked like a slop of filling plopped on a plate with ~half of a biscuit in the middle of the mess. A dissatisfying disappointment, especially for a $40 dish. The desserts were wonderful! Rating four stars instead of five due to the menu being an overpriced for the overall quality of the main courses. You're definitely paying to eat at a beautiful historic hotel, not for the quality of the food.

It's huge, largely empty, and quiet, perfect for a contemplative experience with your food. At dinnertime on a Friday my nearest neighbors were twenty feet away kneeling at a Japanese-style low table. I got to vibe in the quiet background music and the distant Friday night sounds of downtown. I tried the pork ramen, which felt a bit Americanized (kale, corn, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, half a ramen egg, and spicy ground meat in what appears to be a vegetable broth), but had surprising heat build-up as I ate and a pleasant aftertaste. The real highlight was the tea service. I ordered some red chai, which was served with a small teapot to table-steep it in; a carafe of hot water; and a tea box to pour out the first wash into. The server walked me through the process and the tea was fantastic, with a marvelous spice balance. Next time I think I'll try the poke bowl the other reviewers have enjoyed. They've been open since December, though only at peak times - worth a look if you want something different.

It was fairly empty when we were there and they clearly over charge for drinks and don't even put them in their proper glasses. Wine belongs in a wine glass.
