We were very remorseful for choosing this company; the owner Jonathan sells himself as a…read moreprofessional in the business and very convincing he is an honest person; but he is a dishonest person and does not sell a quality service or product; In November (Thanksgiving) 2023, we asked for the backyard to have sod installed; asked for bushes and plants to be installed in the front; cement steps installed; and paid more than going price ($120) at last minute to have his crew blow our leaves - this was haphazardly done - many leaves remained; we typically pay $80 The sod is now dying - Jonathan told us to buy a product to fix it: there were 3 kinds of plants installed; one kind is dying; the cement is yellow, the crew didn't clean with acid, instead Jonathan told us to do it; the cement is also cracking Jonathan does not stand by his work; and they apparently buy cheap or bad product and then puts the onus on the customer; They don't return calls, as well. At a minimum, Jonathan should come out and take a look and fix - they should guarantee their work and product Instead he said he would come out if we pay him to replace the sod; and buy new plants and pay for the install again I would not hire this company or Recommend them to anyone;

When we raised concerns, the owner dismissed the issue as "sunspots," even though the pattern appeared much more consistent with leaf-spot disease than ordinary sun or heat damage. I've included three photos of the affected plant, along with one photo of a different hydrangea purchased elsewhere that shows what normal heat or transport stress actually looks like. The difference is obvious. What was most disappointing was not simply receiving a diseased plant, but the owner's unwillingness to take the concern seriously or offer a reasonable solution. Little did he know, my husband previously owned and operated a landscaping business, so we are not inexperienced with plant health or landscaping. I felt like I had to agree to the new quote or the job wouldn't get done. He also didn't want a down payment to start. Then half way through, the owner Shane started acting nervous about getting paid, like he was going to stop working. Like a dummy, I offered to pay him in full. I wrote him a check, told him to wait a week for it to clear because I had to deposit money into my acct from a different acct. He didn't wait, tried cashing it & I wound up paying a bounced check fee. Then he threatened to file a criminal complaint against me for a bad check. My anxiety went through the roof, I got so physically ill that I couldn't leave my camper for 2 days. Short end of it, once he got his $22,000, he never returned to finish the job. It's been weeks. I've asked him kindly to please come & finish. He bought an abandoned Drag Racing strip in Mt Olive instead.
