I have used this company several times over the past 20-25 years, and unfortunately, this experience showed me how much some companies have changed and no longer take pride in their work. I contacted Hinkle to reattach my gutters after a roofer had pulled on them. They came out and installed gutter nails, which did stop water from draining behind the gutters. However, there was an obvious rotten piece of wood that was visible during the repair. It was never mentioned to me. Just two days after the work was completed, I noticed the damage and called them. I was told they did not address it because they were only focused on the gutters. While I understand that replacing the wood may have been outside the scope of the original job, I believe it should have at least been brought to my attention as a homeowner. I was told someone would call me back regarding the repair, but to this day, I have never received a call. Customer service and communication mean everything. If a company does not stand behind its work or value its customers, it reflects poorly on the company as a whole.

In addition, a large tree fell and completely destroyed the attached deck.
