Seriously. She came outside screaming at my hired workers that were moving me into the third floor.... at 2PM on a Sunday.... because they were making noise. The buildings don't have elevators. And that was DAY ONE. She filed complaints about me walking from my office to the bathroom in the middle of the day. She sent the "security" guard to my apartment when I vacuumed. She sent the actual police to my apartment in the middle of the night (I was sleeping) and then I got a call from management the next day saying the police came about a noise complaint and I didn't answer. Uh... ok? I was sleeping? I didn't hear them? LMAO. She called the police on me while I was sleeping and the management just went with it!! The ONLY thing that got it to stop was me filing a police report against the downstairs neighbor for harassment. Absolute insanity that the management here entertained these "noise" complaints and I had to file a police report. I don't have kids or a dog, the beast of a woman was simply unhinged. Car break ins were very regular. The gates didn't work over half the time. Several times, they left them wide open for 2 weeks at a time. They let anyone come and go. They allowed vehicles to drive 30-40-50mph in the parking lot. So dangerous... especially when there are children in the community who ride bikes etc. Half the gym equipment was broken and they had no intentions of fixing it. My apartment had an insane amount of gnats that were coming from the drain. Yep, the bathroom sink drain. So many freaking gnats. They closed the pool on long holiday weeekends without explanation. I have no idea how nearly half of the unemployed residents paid their rent. The place was insanely mismanaged. They called me like a week before move in and told me they needed me to take a different apartment as the person leaving my signed apartment changed their mind and wanted to stay. I should have backed out of the lease right then, but hindsight is 20/20. Don't move here. Live in your car if you must.

Unfortunately, they didn't have anymore available apartments when it was time for me to relocate here. After a year of living in Little Rock I was able to apply and move into Bowman Pointe. I remember taking a swim one late summer night and saying I love this place it's almost like we are on vacation. We attended a few events and sometimes when we didn't feel like cooking dinner it was super convenient to have a food truck outside on Tuesday Nights. This was our dream apartment. One thing I don't think people realize is how important bathrooms really are. The amount of space and storage you get with Bowman Pointe bathrooms is beyond your average apartment or in some cases houses. The rainfall shower head and regular shower head creates almost an oasis one could potentially take for granted. We start our mornings getting ready in our bathrooms and we end our nights preparing for bed in our bathrooms. I am putting such an emphasis on this because we unfortunately made a poor decision and left bowman pointe to live in a new construction house. We were excited to get a garage - we were excited to have two stories, and have some more space in some parts of the house. We made sacrifices. The master bathroom was a quarter of the size of Bowman Pointe. Cold showers and cramped spaces are how I start and finish my mornings and nights now. We took for granted an amazing spa shower. We took for granted having maintenance at our finger tips if something were to come up. We took for granted the community and the amenities. After what felt like 100 problems with new construction we were able to terminate our lease and move back to Bowman Pointe. I also would like to say even with Bowman Pointe being new construction- we didn't have ANY problems with our previous apartment Pointe might not be a house with a garage in a subdivision, but it's so much more than just an apartment. When we walked back through the lobby, and walked through the apartment to do a final walk through - IT FELT LIKE HOME. I am beyond grateful and excited to be moving back and having the opportunity to do so. The staff is amazing. The complex is clean and safe. The amenities are better than what most 3-4 star hotels could offer. This is truly luxury living. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you're looking at renewing your lease or if you're thinking about moving here... It is possible to feel happy and feel like you're not in Little Rock at the same time.

I told them twice about sending…read morepest control (Saturday and Monday) the pest control did not come to my place at all. the ants are crawling on me as I sleep, I found one on side of my head, but being that pest only comes on Tuesday and apparently it's impossible for them to come again I have to have ants crawling and biting me and my daughter and nothing is being done about it. also my over door came off, it's hardl hanging on, I'll see if maintenance will come today or not

    Honestly, this the best apartment complex we have ever lived in. Let's start off with the staff…read more Both RaeLyn and Holly are welcoming, attentive, empathetic, and kind. They pay attention to the details, which is important to us and something you don't see much of anymore. These girls are on top of it. You need something? They've probably already thought about it and have it handled. Prior to moving here, we had an awful awful awful moving experience. RaeLyn and Holly went out of their way to ensure we had a smooth move in- no hassle! They even stayed late to help us! That is not something my husband and I take lightly. They've been such a massive help. Now for the maintenance staff. Sam is the head guy, and boy does he deserve that title. He is so respectful, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable regarding his work. If there are any issues, Sam is prompt and will handle it. In terms of the property and it's surrounding area, it's absolutely gorgeous. Again, the attention to detail is stunning. The river and marina are right across the street. We can see the river from my patio, and boy is it peaceful. It's such a nice place to take a stroll, and my dog is all about it. Also from my patio, we can see the junction bridge and part of the skyline. Wow. That's basically all we can say. Truly speechless. Oh, and let's not forget about the sunsets! The sunset is completely unobstructed and never fails to impress us from our living room and patio every evening. Downtown is literally down the street, so lots to do! We enjoy the Heifer International garden and "petting zoo" on our walks, since it's literally down the street. The apartment itself is built well. They didn't skimp at all. Vinyl wood flooring, stainless steel appliances, fingerprint access to the front door, alarm system, large and relaxing tubs, granite countertops, special/additional lighting in the bathroom- need I say more? Oh, and everything is energy efficient down to the windows. Heck yeah! When this place is completely done with construction, it will basically be a mini community. A lifestyle one might say. Dog park, pool, river beach, etc. We can't wait! If you're wanting to move in but concerned about it still being under construction, don't be. They will never move you into an apartment unless it's truly ready. It's very quiet, and we have not heard the construction crew once. There are buildings that are finished, and the ones that aren't finished are blocked off. Did I mention valet trash? It's so nice not having to take my trash to the dumpster. It's the little things, people. This place is dog friendly which is a big thing for my family. Even the maintenance guys are good with my pup! I truly think my dog loves living here as much as we do. The only con regarding this complex would be the parking. It's disappointing to have to pay for parking when I'm already paying significant rent. I understand paying for the covered parking, but the uncovered...Really? At the very least, there is free parking at the marina and it's not far. If this is the one and only con, then I'd say it's still pretty darn good. Let's talk pricing. Yes, it's a bit steep... However, everything is included except electric. Yes, you heard me! Even the fiber optic high speed internet. Whoo hoo! Honestly, you get what you pay for and my husband and I don't regret moving here one bit. We'd recommend this complex to anyone. If you're feeling hesitant, this is your sign. Go for it! @residencesatharbortown

    I wish I could leave no stars!! I have lived here for 6 and a half years and it has gone from bad…read moreto worse. There is a serious roach infestation, water damage and black mold, the flooring was not replaced with a flood from upstairs drenched our carpet and caused mold so there is concrete and some vinyl flooring I tried to install myself but couldn't afford to purchase enough for the whole apartment which I was never reimbursed for nor has the flooring been replaced. The flooding occurred in 2018! The garbage disposal leaked heavily for one a year before it was replaced after I got legal services involved. After I hired a lawyer the office made a false accusation that I "exposed myself" to a maintenance worker. There were no police reports or charges pressed against me but they trigger ptsd I have from a real sexual assault that happened against me when I was 21. Afterwards, I required that no one enter my apartment without my husband present. They have not respected my request and 3 men came into my apartment today to "fix" the kitchen drain and dish washer. All they did was use a wet vac to suck the water from the sink and dishwasher. I recorded what I was wearing, standing, were my dogs were, and where they were standing and saying. The people here always lie, lie, lie! So I am protecting myself and can record them because Arkansas has very little rights for tenant's and consent of recordings. Only one party is required for consent. I'm still waiting on a new hvac unit. Apparently, 28 units need one and the only units they are doing any improvements on are the vacant ones. Probably so they can charge the new residents higher rent. But they crap on the current residents who are paying them rent every month. Don't ever believe a company that says that they are "under new management" because they are not new they just changed their name. Ask code enforcement. Save yourself and NEVER even consider moving into this inferno! BTW they have changed the apartment complex from McCain Park Apartments to Timbers at Lakewood. I couldn't find their name on Yelp so I'm reviewing here.

I've lived there with 3 different managements and this current one is the worse. 1. It takes forever to fix or complete work request. It is often serious issues and you have to call multiple times. 2. Changes are constantly being made to the rules or with fees. 3. They want you to attend mandatory meetings. 4. There is always issues with the water in the buildings. 5. The rent continues to go up but there are no changes made to the apartment. Now I understand prices do go up but $100 seems pretty high especially when there hasn't been an upgrade to my apartment in over 7 years. I have several more issues I can list but I am sure you get the point. Be happy and live somewhere else.
