If you enjoy shelling out over $2,000 a month to endure constant disturbances from neighbors above, such as loud conversations, heavy footsteps akin to Clydesdale horses, cabinet slamming, and even the unsettling sound of urine hitting the toilet bowl (yes, I've actually heard it due to the thin ceilings), and toilets from other units flushing, then this is the place for you! And a note to the potential residents that move into our old apartment, I hope you don't have children because be prepared to involuntarily overhear intimate moments and try to figure out how to explain what that noise is to little ones. Despite attempts to address these issues with management, you'll find little assistance. They'll demand video evidence, which, even when provided, leads to no action taken. Even noise persisting beyond quiet hours fails to prompt effective management response. Instead, they may admonish you not to retaliate with noise of your own, while turning a blind eye to unreasonable disturbances from others. In addition to the structural deficiencies and managerial ineptitude, you'll contend with the nuisance of dog feces scattered throughout the premises, courtesy of inconsiderate pet owners neglecting to clean up after their animals. Yet, Acero attempts to mask its shortcomings with trivial gestures like pizza parties and raffles, failing to address the fundamental issues plaguing community peace and quality of life.
