Hired April 2025 -- unresolved as of January 2026. The project involved residential interior and…read moreexterior work and was time-sensitive due to environmental and animal-safety considerations. I was satisfied with the quality of the work, but the project was not completed. The larger issues were timeliness, follow-through, communication, and billing transparency. Communication became increasingly unresponsive, and eventually the contractor stopped communicating with me directly, routing communication through his wife instead, which led to confusion about prior agreements. By late October 2025, the project remained unfinished. I was later told the business was prioritizing other types of jobs, something that had never been communicated upfront. I ultimately terminated the project in November 2025. A final walkthrough was never conducted before billing. I raised questions about specific invoice items multiple times over several months but did not receive explanations. Concerns that were raised were not addressed, and responsibility for unresolved issues was not acknowledged. In several instances, issues I raised were attributed to my expectations rather than addressed as deviations from the agreed scope or as workmanship concerns. Payment discussions were directed to a third party rather than handled directly with me, which I was not comfortable with, and I was unexpectedly told there was an unpaid balance after being informed a reduced payment would settle the account. I was also later told--after the fact--that the job was being worked on only in the contractor's "free time," which was never disclosed and would have affected my decision to hire them. Taken together, the lack of response to my questions and the use of third-party communication instead of direct contact ultimately damaged the process and made the experience feel dismissive and disrespectful. Additionally, a late-fee policy was introduced retroactively nearly three months after invoicing and had not been disclosed in advance or listed on the invoice. I paid the balance aside from the disputed portion in an effort to move toward closure. Based on my experience, I would not hire this business again. If you choose to work with them, I recommend confirming that scope, timelines, communication expectations, and billing terms are clearly documented in writing from the outset.

So after they left I measured the front lot and it was not 33 foot wide it was 32 1/2 feet. They also promised me a drawing of my property. All they sent me was some sort of certificate. When I called them and asked them for the drawing the lady said you only asked for the staked survey. I also left a message with someone they're in charge and he never called me back. When in fact she told me when I first called them to ask them to survey my property that they would include a drawing of it. I also overheard one of the surveyors talking to my neighbor to the north and I think they did not place the northwest stake in the right location after talking to him. Do not trust this company they will not deliver on their promises.

This guys were absolutely amazing. They cut down A HUUUGE tree...can't recall if it was an oak…read moreor maple--work was done in Oct. of 2018--then another full tree, and "trimmed" two others. I say "trimmed" bcuz the "leads"--as they're properly called in Forestry (I did not know this)--were as large as MOST TREES. The guys worked their butts off: Started around 8:30-9 on a Saturday am and ended up finishing around 7p on Sunday night. Now here's the kicker: When they were done with all the cutting/loading of wood/brush--and I mean they took EV. RY. SINGLE STICK--the owner went around with a leaf blower and basically cleaned my entire yard. We had an old pile of decrepit wood that they took as well. And oh, btw: they ground every stump, INCLUDING A BONUS ONE FR A TREE THAT I'D CUT DOWN PREVIOUSLY. I'm sure with the state of the world, their prices have climbed commensurate with inflation, but at the time, they did allllll the work I'd mentioned for $4500.
