I had my first appointment at Complete Dental Care on February 11, 2026, for a complex dental issue…read morerequiring a tooth extraction. I have a significantly complex medical history, including Type 1 Diabetes, ileostomy, malabsorption, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, multiple allergies, mast cell activation syndrome, autonomic neuropathy, POTS and a history of sepsis. At this first appointment on February 11, 2026, the dentist prescribed what was, for me, a second course of clindamycin. This second course caused serious complications with my ileostomy output and led to dehydration. At that appointment, I was also referred to Case Western Dental for an OR extraction, with instructions to contact Complete Dental Care if I did not hear from Case Western within 1-2 weeks. I first contacted Complete Dental Care on February 19 to make them aware I had not heard from Case Western & the complications from the antibiotic. I was given Case Western's number, and was told they would reach out on my behalf also. I have called Case Western daily and left voicemails from Feb 19 on with no response. By February 25, I still had not heard from Case Western or Complete Dental Care and called Complete Dental Care again, being promised a return call before the end of the day yet that call never came. On February 27, while on my way to my doctor, I called Complete Dental Care and spoke with Susie. I explained the situation, the health complications, and that I needed information to provide to my doctor. She personally guaranteed she would call me back before the end of the day. I stressed my complex medical history & stated if you are unable to call back, let me know so I can make my doctor aware, it is a weekend & they will base their decision on what to do depending on if you are able to call back with a plan. Susie stated "I promise to call you back personally before the end of today." Once again, I never received a return call. I called Complete Dental Care again on March 2, speaking with Haley, and explained everything in detail, including how the lack of follow-up had already affected medical decisions made by my other Dr. Haley said she would speak with both Susie and the dentist when they were in office Tuesday and guaranteed a call back on Tuesday -- which never happened. As of March 4, I have still received no follow-up with no plan at all. While I understand Complete Dental Care cannot control Case Western's scheduling, their repeated promises and lack of follow-through have directly impacted my health and other medical providers decisions. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and the lack of communication and patient support is concerning. I have included a screenshot of my phone call log to the office for reference.

Got there, waited 40 minutes past my appointment time, and then was told they don't do extractions. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and left me in pain with a wasted used sick day from work. It would be better to remove your tooth Tom Hanks style from the movie Cast Away than go to Complete Dental Care.
