Everything in the room was typical, meh, but there was some noise, early in the morning. The breakfast area is very nice. A big room that looks out over big doors to the pool area. The lobby was also nicer than usual for a Best Western although the decor was sort of old feeling. I didn't feel very welcome by the staff. We stayed at a Best Western the night before in a similar small town. It was about the same price but everything was a little better, even though the accommodations weren't as nice. It's that indescribable thing that just makes an experience better.

The owners, a man named Mike and his wife, were very kind and fully understanding of our late night arrival. They let us do a late check out at 2 PM and were even ok when we had to push that to 3 PM because of how exhausted we were from the last few days of driving. The beds are comfortable the rooms are clean the showers are hot and fridge works great. Add to that the literally hundreds of channels on their cable package that we were able to watch Saturday morning cartoons on, and we will return every time we are driving down I-10. Rooms were clean. However.....first room the hot water in shower did not work. Second room the hot water in the sink literally did not turn on. Plumbing fixtures are so old and do not work! The bedspring was very stained on the side. We only paid $45 for the night but not sure why we stayed.... I think the owners are really trying to get the place in order! It was clean...... I think they will continue to improve-just trying to make a living. Pets are allowed.

The rooms are also cheap - $35-$40 per night. This is not a five-star hotel, but if you're looking for a inexpensive, no frills place to stay - this is the place. Staff/owners are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. My car battery died while I was staying there and the desk clerk came out and jump started my car! If you happen to be spending the night in the Junction area, get off I-10 and head into town to stay here.

I called because I wanted to make sure that wouldn't be a problem before booking online. The lovely woman I spoke to assured me it wasn't a problem, and told me which spot would be easiest to pull into in the dark, and gave me all the info we'd need since the office would be closed. We didn't see how lovely the place was till morning when we had to head out and wished we could have stayed longer! Great service and location.

Note that I read multiple hotels' reviews before calling This one for a reservation. Checkin at midnight was easy, friendly and quick. Room 119 was old and worn, but absolutely spotless. The sheets and towels were a bit scratchy, but smelled faintly of bleach (which I consider a good thing). There was hand soap and only one small shampoo and no conditioner- so bring it if you need it! The room had wood-look floor and tile in the bathroom- perfect for pets. It had a blow dryer, coffee maker, dorm fridge, window a/c, armchair and ottoman, king bed, and a flat screen tv. Everything worked fine. The shower was hot and had Good pressure. Breakfast was far beyond what a hotel in this price range usually offers. It was manned by a polite older lady who kept it stocked and clean. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, a waffle maker/batter, a toaster with bagels, bread, and English muffins, yogurt, three cereals, 2% and whole milk, four juices, tea, coffee and decaf. All available in a small room off the checkin lobby with about eight tables. Checkout was polite and quick. There is an area for walking dogs and a small pool that looked fine from a distance. This hotel exceeded my expectations. We hope to stop back on our way back to AZ in a few weeks! Thank you!!
