Worst apartments ever. I highly don't recommend. I had to move urgently and this was the only complex with availability at the time. WORST MISTAKE EVER. The management is rude, disorganized, lazy, and unprofessional. The maintenance is equally the same. They have terrible bug issues, AC unit issues, and plumbing issues. They never fix anything when asked!! Upon moving in there were several problems with the apartment that Lee and Kim claimed would be fixed, but never got to it until I had to hassle them by calling every single day! And every week something else in this place is falling apart, not working, or simply broken. But then they hassle you for rent money when they're not keeping their units up to par!! This place either needs to be HIGHLY renovated, shut down, or torn down (or ALL of the above). I don't think this apartment complex is up to the proper housing standards. Let's start with the amenities, or lack thereof, River Bend Apartments claims to have Central Air. In any of the units, especially those on the second floor, you'll be lucky to keep your place below 85 degrees in the summer. Continuous calls to the office do no good, they refuse to update their A/C units! Their "certified" A/C techs (aka the maintenance staff) will look at the unit and claim it's working perfectly. They'll also suggest that you refrain from cooking or doing laundry to keep the temps down. Your electric bill will easily reach $200+ a month! Think you can just go cool off in the pool? Not so, it's frequently closed for maintenance. The apartments wall to wall carpet has NEVER been cleaned! Expect stains, broken glass and toe nail clippings when you move in. If you want someone to hang out and have a beer with, feel free to call the maintenance staff. If you want something fixed, you're better off doing it yourself. Ok so let's start off with the management they suck!!!! You can't get help from anybody everybody even most of the maintenance are liers... Here is my story me my husband and my eight month old moved here about 2 months ago from day one we have had nothing but trouble with our a.c. unit so we call just about every 3 days they tell us it's cause it's hot outside so finally I get beyond pissed cause we can't sleep it's so hot my baby has heat rashes so I go to the office show my tail and now they say the compressor is bad so it takes about 2 weeks to fix then it's a leak after they told us there was no leak ppl yes there is I'm not dumb!!!! We have got to power bills both over 400 so we ask for help do we get any NO but that's ok to here are more issues you can't park anywhere without your car turning into an ant bed and my baby has never been sick until we moved here and now he stays sick why idk but I tend to get to the bottom of it and we always keep a runny nose sneezing etc and the only thing I can think of that would cause this is black mold cause I have delt with that before so please re consider living here I thought I was going to love it but I hate it this place is nothing but a big fat joke!!!! When I read Jason B review and he hit the nail on the head and forgot to mention sinks and toilet is always stopping up... I really hope this helps read more
