In response to a previous post on yelp concerning JICC leadership, the church is limited in its ability to discipline a man or woman and as time moves on our memories are not reliable. Thanks to the Spirit of God, He gives us a new and transformed life. We can't change yesterday but we can look forward to a better tomorrow. To me, JICC ministry is about spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and that is on the hearts and minds of their pastors and people. The lines to vote here are always long (the Board of Elections needs to open another precinct), but the church is actually a great polling place. Parking is easy, free, and plentiful, with lots of space and seating inside. The building is very accessible for those with disabilities or senior citizens. Seniors sure do turn out for elections! Grace on the Ashley has a Blessing Box on campus. Anyone with extra non-perishable, non-expired food can leave it in the box. Those who are less fortunate can get food from the box. Lowcountry Blessing Boxes is a charity seperate from this church (and any religious affiliation), but Grace on the Ashley allows them to host a box on their property. Since this is a church with a school and kids ministry, hopefully the kids see others giving back and it sets a good example.
